I can't properly express just how much I love this! ;) It's what I needed and wanted after last night's episode and that you did it not only from Erin's but Jay's POV too was an added bonus :)

As much as I loved having Annie back on the Show, I mean Erin said she was her best friend- where has she been for almost three freaking seasons? :O And why have her come back only to make Erin contemplate whether it's worth staying in Chicago or if leaving is the better option for her at this point? I wished that Erin and Jay would have had a talk like in your story at the end of the episode and I am still wondering whether they did film a scene like this and then it was cut for time or whether they thought it wasn't necessary at all? I bet by next week's episode it will all be water under the bridge again and it will be like nothing happened and then by the end of the season they'll bring it back up, like something will make her snap and cause her to quit again and leave Chicago :( I don't want it to end like this, but unfortunately I can see it happening...

Now back to your story, because it's truly amazing and because I wish you would write for the show ;) you have a real talent and capture both Erin and Jay's personalities so well in all of your stories that I hope someone from the show secretly reads them and takes notes ;)

It's so heartbreaking to see how unsure and vulnerable Erin is and that she still thinks she isn't worthy of Jay's love :( I'm so glad he's her rock through all of this though and he's there to catch her every time, that he shows her she can depend on him whenever she needs to and that he has her back, even if she doesn't expect him to or if it was easier for him to walk away or for her to shut him out. Making their relationship work isn't easy, because of Erin's trust issues and how many times she's been led down by people who were supposed to care for her and love her... But like Juliet O'Hara said on Psych, "the best things, the richest things don't come easily." and the ending of your chapter was further proof of them being able to face whatever life throws at them together and that even if it's not always easy to love someone and let them all the way in, in Jay and Erin's case it will always be worth it ;)

I love how you showed both Jay's and Erin's point of views in this story. I wish the episode would have shown a conversation like this, I can definitely see Erin trying to give Jay an out and him reassuring her that he really did want to be in a relationship with her. Great job!
