So glad you’re back and that you’re okay! I hope you continue to stay safe during this crazy time! Regina was so not kidding when she said Henry is a handful, he’ll probably never get a dog after that stunt he pulled. Shout out to Regina for being super mom and for also being an amazing friend. I didn’t even see it coming that the woman she yelled at in chapter five was gonna be Lily. As always, great chapter and thanks for the updates!

That was so good and so intense! I’m glad they’re working on parenting the kids better, not that they were bad before, but it’s always good to improve. Also I’m glad Regina got a clean bill of health and may be able to have a baby if that’s something they both want. I can’t believe Zelena was playing sides, you would think she’d drop hades after Regina took her in and everything, but then again I guess she was in a difficult situation because he’s dangerous and ruthless. I’m glad she told Regina so they could escape though. Hopefully Emma is ok since they don’t know where she is and that they’re all ok despite the plane blowing up because of the idiot stewardess! Thanks for the update :)

So I know Emma has a lot of issues, but I’ve never been less convinced of a working SQ relationship than I’ve been in this fic. I still think Emma is a deplorable character and a useless lukewarm parent. She’s fickle and indecisive. She’s manipulative. And I still can’t forget how horribly she treated Regina for half of this fic. Then there’s the sex issue. It’s one thing to be in a long term relationship and develop a sex issue and it’s another to have such a problem in a new relationship with someone who’s the polar opposite. And I know relationships are all about compromise, but it seems that Reginabhas been doing all of the giving and making all of the compromises in order to save Emma and provide her with security. Why can’t Regina and Emma just be best friends and co-parents rather than in a committed relationship that makes one of them so miserable? It seems that Regina clinging to a sense of decency and stubbornness is the only thing keeping her in this relationship... maybe there’s hope for Danni? I hope...

Not gonna lie, this chapter was a bit extreme and gave me pause. Regina’s backstory was nuts and given everything that happened (as well as her personality), I’m puzzled as to why she wouldn’t have already killed Cora and Snow- the architects of her misery.

I also find myself wishing that this had more of a broken down dystopian future feel to it, to help frame their decisions better. Police impotence and dismantling world power structures makes sense when there’s an element of societal breakdown. This story almost feels like it lacks a bit of context, as it feels like they’re working towards some new world order.
I’m enjoying reading this, but when certain things have happened, they have felt slightly misplaced without the appropriate context/ backdrop. Like storming a Chinese prison for those kids, or having their technologically advanced island declare its sovereignty to the world, or preparing to go to war with France to steal an island with no troops- but maybe a lot of tech and paramilitary forces?

So glad Shadow woke up! I feel so bad for Regina having to go through quite a few tough situations right now. Hopefully things will start to get a little better.

Idk why it took me sooooo long to read this story but omg it’s absolutely amazing!

Poor Regina. She's awesome and she has the patience and discipline of a saint. Emma's still got a lot of learning to do. It's so hard to see her as an adult who thought she could be responsible for a child when she acts the way she does. But I do feel a modicum of sympathy for her, given some of what she's experienced and the potent sense of inadequacy that she routinely faces. I can't wait to read more. Thanks for these lengthy updatesNow I'm super curious about the escaped traitor they still haven't found yet...

That was exciting.. Planning on taking on a much larger and powerful country? Regina certainly has a pair of brass ones. I'm glad that she also has a conscience of sorts and might even adopt another kid. It would be nice to see their little family grow and maybe Emma might even finally try to carve out her own unique relationships rather than trying to undermine Regina's... Yes, I'm still a little salty about her earlier behavior... Lol

Some pets of this chapter were a little confusing, like the part where they're negotiating with Gold. He's doing them a favor with interpol and he names his price. Then suddenly he's in debt to them and they're doing him a favor, so they renegotiate? But they're still wary of breaking a deal with him because he's a power player? The back and forth seemed really odd.

Also, I don't know if you mean to or not, but Emma's coming across as a real flake. She gets upset when Regina hasn't demonstrated complete trust in her, but she's judgmental, can't parent for sh*t, reacts emotionally to everything hung, and has this profound sense of entitlement. Then she weirdly seems to worry that Regina will suddenly start acting like Lily when Regina has never given Emma any reason to fear her.

If anything, Regina should be wary of Emma who's tried to steal Henry, waffles on everything, then tris to act like the good guy even when she's in the wrong. I just really dislike Emma in this fic. She's just such a deplorable character and not trustworthy.

I love Henry though, who's absolutely awesome. And I cracked up at his response when Regina returned after being away for days. That was hilarious.

I think all of this Scarlett drama is great for moving this fic forward. It's dramatic and showcases how much of a well-organised badaRegina is. I can't wait to read more and see what else happens.
