One thing that strikes me as odd. Weiss does not like Ichika for his civilian upbringing and the ideas that Ichika has about him. So that is the reason Weiss dislikes him. But the other girls around him safe for Ursula, are also civilians and he got a lot more patience with them. I don't really know if I like that sort of idea. For now. I will just wait and see how this will work out. I wonder what will happen next.

Katalina is a genius! If we remove all the AC from the nations who don't go around abusing their power, then that means that only the rogue states, mercenaries, pirates, and warlords will have superweapons. If only we had thought of that sooner, we could've had world peace already! Sure, it'll be peace because everyone is equally enslaved by psychopaths, but hey, at least it's peace, right?

Or, better yet, the mercenaries go "Hey...doesn't everyone depend on us for their wars and have basically no defenses against are LARGE ARMIES OF MECHA SUPERWEAPONS? I say we go shoot them until they stop dicking with us." and they go remind the world that pissing off what basically amounts to the world's military strength is STUPID.

I knew that Charlotte would be involved in this, we both know how the canon story went and how things are worked out. Her father might be some ally but looks like our own Angel got her own business to work out. I wonder how that will conflict with the things you have shown here. It was a bit of a show. With the others here. Looks like Weiss and Kazuma are socialising with the other students and they all have some friends spread around the place.

And now, we got a Meusel so we have our antagonist in this fic. That much I can see here as I wonder how you will make that all work. But it looks like that person got a lot of issues in here worked out and that might not come down very well as lies upon lies upon lies is going to break you. Personally, I can't wait for when the shit hits the fan, and proper ACs start crushing IS's like they deserve.

As for the chapter itself, it's fine. Glad to finally see some context for how AC's are being "replaced", but I still feel that Governments would still want to maintain and control some AC's for larger scale conflicts.

Regardless, I hope you'll give AC's a proper fight that shows how they are the strongest in Mecha warfare, in the future.

Speaking of which, are you perhaps accepting OC's. Specifically, an OC of a Pilot, and their NEXT, either as a side character in a future conflict or whatever you decide to use them for. Just figured I'd ask.

Hehe nice chap, would like to see some interactions with Lauara and Kazuma interact as well as some light with their past aside from that would like to see others perspective in the aftermath of the battle especially Ichika's perspective considering the erm 'disagreement' on Weiss' way but it's effectivity in the end in making his team's performance look utterly subpar Nya! 3

So this ended like this. A Pity. I would have liked it to see Ichika in this as well for a bit but hey, that's your call to make. I was interested in the parts here and the fight was a blast in how it all sorted itself out. Looks likes his skills are still being put to good use so far I can see this all.

He and Laura got some ways to look at things. This whole soldier like thing is a little bit trying and melodramatic for me but it still make things pay out in some way and it was fun for me to read this.

I think you made a typo, before the start or the match Reinhardt and Nomida's designations were Booker 1 and Booker 2 but as soon as the match starts that designation changes to Baker 1 and Baker 2. This was kind of confusing to read but also easy to understand error.

I was kinda confused at Laura's actions this chapter. He was just doing amazing in a fight she participated in, but sees him smile and loses her shit? Well that won't do. When he's healed, Kazuma will just have to show her whats up. That said, I hope she ends up in the Weiss camp instead of Ichika's.

I wonder who would be an influence to Bodewig, or who would she gravitate more, granted her being with Ichika but more associating with Weiss...

Makes me wonder if she for the naive IS boy or the AC soldier? :3

It hasn't been that long since I heard from you, although I'm going to ask you again to drop by. It was fun to see this chapter. I can see that you had fun writing this chapter. You did one wonderous job on writing a military guy back to the normal life. If he ever had that. He and Laura can indeed compare but I can get where she is getting angry from. She wants to keep the idea of her perfect soldier in her head and she won't let anyone destroy it.

In her wrapped mind, the girls that had been hanging around Weiss makes her change that idea. But we'll see how this works out. If she would do anything to hurt those girls around him, I don't wanna be around him when that happens.

I still find it strange that proper military organizations wouldn't still keep AC's as a back up, given that a properly piloted AC can stomp an IS one on one no problem, but I digress.

Overall a good chapter, and can't wait for more.

I took about a full days worth of nonstop reading to finish all the chapters... I think? Maybe less than that? Well it sure as hell is enough proof for me that I had a damn good read. Cant wait for the next chapter.

Yeah there were a few (like about 5) typos and missing words in per chapter, but feels minor since you got a solid mood and setting here, People that feels and think like people rather than chess pieces that talk and have a face that a startlingly large amount of "lesser grade" fanfictions seem to portray. The characters here don't just do this or do that. They also express their intentions through their thought processes and emotions that's visible or prompted. I don't get enough of this kind of novel like experience...

Well onto plot related inputs, I am intrigued by Dunoa Corporation's plan to integrate AC tech with those of the IS. If the IS core gets implanted into an AC frame, will they be able to evolve? It makes me think of "Black Glint".

I wonder if there will be an Arms Fort situation in the future. That would be a fun mess for sure.
