Ya know, reading this in the middle of a pandemic is a little funny. It’s kind of like, ‘He started coughing’ the only thing going through my mind: ‘itz corona time’ and then, he puts his head somewhere, and it’s like ‘you can do that? Whaaaaaaaa?’ Also, I LOVED how many times the word drugs was brought up in that one scene! I was dying of laughter!

Oh gahd!This is now the second story of yours that I've read within the past several hours that has gotten me emotional over a situation you have written Tony into. *sigh* I'm dreading the rest especially since I'm reading before going to sleep. Hahaha.

Nice story and good read. Lila is cuteness and a breath of fresh air to counter the dread of the situations. I also liked the Tony and Clint interactions.

Finally, at least there was mention of phone calls with Pepper. Sorry... it's just that it really bothered me, as stated in my previous comment. I don't think it would have bothered me as much or at all if it wasn't mentioned that she wanted to come but was then discouraged to do so. With his dire situation as it was and then his slow recovery, I had expected her to visit if not call when he was finally able to talk. I mean he's been in the hospital for over a month.

I was gonna finish the story before saying anything, but it's been like 2 or 3 chapters now, and Pepper hasn't been by to visit. I know she had wanted to visit but was discouraged to do so because of how Tony was. And I know being CEO is a busy job, but you haven't addressed her appearance yet save for Clint telling Tony about sending her photos of his condition; nor a possible phone call. Meanwhile, not only has Lila visited, which was a nice interaction, but the other Avengers as well. So, I was just curious as to why she hasn't. I mean, after all the years she's been with him and past Pneumonia bouts...heck, this was a 10 that he's recovering from and now that he's awake and breathing, Pepper has yet to show up. I only question it, because you had brought up her knowing the situation and wanting to visit and yet she hasn't. 4 more chapters to read so I guess I will find out the answer, if any, to my curiosity.

I rarely ever remember to review fics, but this one's so good that I can't not say something. You managed to take a story about Tony recovering slowly from an illness, which in my opinion sounds like an incredibly boring idea, and you made it AMAZING. And lil Lila brightened up my day

Wonderful story! Just started/finished the whole thing today. I needed this; I'm not feeling well myself, and I want more fics where Tony isn't completely demonized after Civil War. Loved that you brought in Clint's kidsa lot of people don't want to write them into the stories for some reason. Favorited!
