erikhet chapter 14 . 6/11/2019 Here after reading If I Were Me, and i LIVE for this inosaku slow burn content. Love how you write these girls, especially the fun banter. And how you have them dealing with such insane circumstances together with a peaceful end. Love it all. Thank you for the much needed content. Keep up the great work! |
Guest chapter 14 . 1/7/2018 Great story, thanks for sharing! |
Guest chapter 14 . 10/7/2017 I ship this so hard. Lovely fic. I was honestly expecting a tragic ending because drugs but I'm happy they got a cute ending. |
Xio Yven chapter 1 . 8/9/2017 I never even considered this pairing before, and now I have to go dig for every bit I can find! Read the entire thing in one go and I loved every moment. The deep descriptions and metaphors helped paint a picture of the things the characters couldn't themselves find the words for, making the experience of reading it so much more rich. I hope to read more of your work! |
Guest chapter 14 . 6/2/2017 The sequenced style was interesting and I felt that it complimented the plot itself. Cool story, and I enjoyed reading it! :3 |
RalitsaR chapter 14 . 3/9/2017 I looooved this story! Thank you so much and Good Job! |
Apuppetofsocks chapter 13 . 3/4/2017 Wow. I read some of the other reviews and MAN are people wrong! Wouldn't know good prose if a patch of it got slapped into their arms. Let me just say this story is fantastic, and YOU, good fella, are a phenomenal writer. I make my case. In medias res is a very hard technique to execute properly but when done is ABSOLUTELY the best storytelling method. And it's a fact that I think that isn't an opinion. Second, out of sequence storytelling is FANTASTICALLY hard to pull off without causing your readers to become confused or disinterested. This, I think, was not your goal, as you didn't quite keep me from confusion. Your goal was to, as often and as viscerally as possible, relay the feeling of drug addiction, and dissociation is one of the sensations you wove into not only your excellent descriptive language, but your very storytelling itself. Finally, and I could continue but it's 4am and my gf wants me to get off my phone, your characterization is powerful, yet simple, descriptive, yet easy and the variance from normal characterization is solely explained by the events of the story. Ino's fight against the drugs is magnificently understated, but powerful in its own right. Sakura's frustration, excellently executed and while Sakura "going under" helping her solve the mystery was a bit trite and expected, the actual resolution was sufficiently novel and inspired to forgive that trope. In summary, you are a superlative scribe. A world-class wordsmith and your stories are a boon, a gift to this community. The story itself was wonderfully written, precisely planned and elegantly executed. Thank you. |
sweetdeadlyangel chapter 10 . 2/22/2017 First off, let me just say that (some) of the other reviews are too harsh and don't give you enough credit. As a fellow fanfiction writer I know the time and effort put into writing each story. Let me just say your writing is like poetry. Dark and beautiful poetry. The way you describe the addiction is so amazingly realistic I almost feel like I'm addicted too just by reading. Your writing is absolutely amazing. I wasn't going to read this story based on the summary (I'm not into dark fics) but I'm so glad I did. I really do hope for a happy ending though. What tsunade said had me intrigued. Please be a cure for this addiction. Please let ino and Sakura realize their true (sober) feelings for each other. Please let them fight through this addiction! I need hope! :) |
Ann chapter 1 . 1/21/2017 I'm all for Ino/Sakura, but I couldn't be less interested in a story that goes into any detail about the physical effects of drug addiction. So while I enjoyed your two-minded Sakura story, I'm not going to read any more of this one. |
Guest chapter 8 . 1/19/2017 almost... XD and yes! get rid of the drugs, sakura! thanks for updating! :) |
Guest chapter 7 . 1/18/2017 so cute! i don't ship ino and sakura, but i read your other story (if i were me) and i thought "hmm, well, i have to read this!" and here i am! you make this ship enjoyable. and so fluffy (some of the time)! thanks so much for updating! i love when you do two chapters at a time! |
Guest chapter 5 . 1/18/2017 you have a chance, ino! i promise! never give up! and sakura is just like "...(what?)" lol |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/18/2017 ahh! what's gonna happen? lol, i just realized that the days weren't chronological. omg i'm such an idiot, XD poor ino. poor sakura. she's smiling though, so...? she's drugged though, so yeah. *pat pat* |
Arkeus chapter 1 . 1/11/2017 Yeaaaaah no. Having both Ino and Sakura addicted in that mess will make for a nervewracking reading without any glimmer of light. Given this is a fanfic and so probably won't have either Sakura or Ino in a not-awful place for a couple of IRL years... Yeah, at best I'll put this as "to read next year when it's further on and check whether I can breath while going through it". |
