this is, by far, one of the best pokemon fics i've ever read! and with my dear rotomdex to top it! i beg of you to please continue this, your writing is fantastic!

This story is amazing! I love Rotom so much... this is possibly the most genius idea for a Sun and Moon story ever. I was planning a similar story with a Rotom partner, but that mostly takes place in Sinnoh. If I ever make it, I'll have you to thank for the inspiration! (But I promise I won't steal your ideas! I could never compete with your skill! You're one of the most descriptive writers I've ever had the pleasure to read from.)

I really like this story! You flesh out the characters nicely and it's more interesting to read than most adaptations of the games' stories. I think that Chip and Rotom get over some of the things that happen like the incidents with Popplio and the pichu a bit too quickly, but if you go over them a bit more in future chapters it should be fine. Keep up the great writing!

I just started reading this story this morning and I really enjoy it. Your battle scenes are pretty good and you seem to be staying true to the games (especially when Popplio was forcibly returned to its pokeball when it fainted like in the games). One thing I would like to see is Chip having some sort of PTSD from his experience. It would make sense since the robbery was pretty brutal and it was Chip's bestfriend. I feel like him and Rotom recovered from the experience WAYYY too fast to be realistic.

Other than that I am really enjoying this story and it has potential to be great. Follow and Favorite :D

Red Noir (The Grand Journey)

Personality: When outside of battle, he is a kindhearted individual, willing to help others in need and give them tips. He genuinely cares for his family back at home ans supports them any way he can. However in battle, a switch is flipped, he becomes cold and calculating. Always being several steps ahead of the opponent and taking advantage of the field and the strengths of his Pokemon.

Appearence: A black trench coat over his white T-shirt, Wears long white pants with zippers around the top of his kneecaps, which when unzipped turn into shorts. Due to the hot weather of Alola, he is never really seen in his trench coat and long pants. His shoes are black, with the decals, in the shape smoke, being white. Shoelaces are Red. His hair is shoulder length and is jet black, with the tips of his hair red (Black slowly fades to red near the end). His eyes are a chocolate brown, with one eye being permanently due to a scar he obtained in a battle several years prior. Around his neck is a necklace holding a Poke Ball, containing his first friend and his most powerful beast.

Reason for being in Alola: He's taking a break from league duties. (Works for G-Men). He decided to go to a new region and see what it was like. He wants to remember what it was like to adventure before he started working and being stationed at various regions.

Partner: Charizard (Shiny)

Nickname: Rize

Appearance and Personality: While looking like an ordinary Charizard, with the exception of his black skin, his power far exceeds the norm. The experience and training he has gained over the years allows him to fight on par with most Legendaries, however, due to this, Rize has developed a cocky nature not starting out a full strength. In their later years, Red and Rize had to leave each other in midst of battle for a short time, resulting in the loss of Red's eye. Feeling guilty that he left his partner and best friend vulnerable in his time of need, Rize cut his own eye, leaving a scar. However, his eye is still fully functional. This action caused their bond to become unbreakable.

Awwww, that poor Pichu. :( So sad. Nice chapter though. Can't wait for more.
