Amazing ending! I've been looking forward to the final chapter of this for almost two months, and may I say I wouldn't have wanted it in any other way. Tims entrance was fabulous, I thought I could almost feel the punch for a moment. You don't mess with McGee I'd say.
I liked Tony spilling his gut and Gibbs heartfelt apology, I've said it once and I'm saying it again, you make Gibbs say sorry in the most beautiful of ways. Yes, he did mess up, but that's one thing your giving us which I'm really glad about because it keeps his character interesting besides being the know-it-all-and-no-mistakes Gibbs. I love following this kind of character development, and you write them best!

good story

I just finished reading this, because I went back and read from chapter 12, just to catch back up again and...maybe mumble mumble mumble...to prolong my satisfaction of a great authors story! Thank you for another awesome read.

Great way to end this story and I totally loved Tony's dig at Gibbs about his gut being wrong. Especially so after mentioning the cat. That comment should have made Gibbs stop and question himself about how many more times he had been wrong, especially when it comes to Tony .
And really, Gibbs should listen more to Tony's gut than anyone else's on the team. Tony is a social person and knows how to interact with people from all walks of life, like how to get them to open up or get under their skin. People are more comfortable with Tony and are more prone to let down their guard. Which makes him so much better at being able to read people than anyone else on the team and especially Gibbs.
Gibbs has always had a habit of turning a blind eye to the truth when it comes to one of his favorites or someone he considers a friend. He would rather bury his head in the sand than admit he was wrong about something or someone.
