Laxus has such a bad case of terminal foot in mouth disease whenever he's being defensive. At least he had enough sense to not let Lucy leave which would have been a very bad idea with how she overthinks everything and twists it into a pretzel if you give her 5 minutes alone.

Ouuu the Lalu progresses! I loved the confessions in this chapter and of course Laxus would have a tough time saying he likes her too! I lost my shit when he was massaging her feet, he's so bae like that was so freakin cute! Can't wait to see what happens next for them!

"Whoo-hoo! Gettcha some Lucy!", is what Cana probably would say if she saw Lucy initiating a kiss with Laxus. If anyone can empathize/sympathize with the pain that Laxus is going through in the wake of his grandfather's death, it's Lucy because she knows the pain caused by the death of a loved one better than anyone in the guild; she was only a little girl when she watched helplessly as her mother died, and she never even got the chance to make amends with her father before he too died. So, Laxus needs to quit being so Laxus, and let her in because she can greatly help put him back together again; and maybe he can fix the pieces of her that are still broken.
Anyways, this was a great chapter. In fact this whole story is simply superb. I am greatly looking forward to the next chapter, and the fall-out from this kiss.

What's going to happen in the tower?!

I do hope Lucy can drag LAxus out of his funk that he is in at the moment. Seems losing gramps hit him harder than he is willing to admit. Looks like Lucy is very much wondering what's up with their relationship that has gone nowhere since the Christmas kiss under the imaginary mistletoe Laxus had her thinking was there after handing her his coat. Going to be interesting to see how she manages to get the bull headed man to talk to her also.
