I am curious about when you wrote this because you have Sheringford (rather than Sherrinford) and it is a man rather than a place. Was this after TLD?

Very interesting that My rift is aware of Molly’s pregnancy. Your Mycroft has a similar reaction to mine - glad that Sherlock will provide offspring and thus have the pressure off him to procreations haha.

Finally had a chance to continue your story. At the dentist right now. I like the way you are inserting canon elements into the story. I’m not surprised Sherlock ordered Molly out as soon as he found out she was pregnant. That definitely seems like something he would do, be on able to deal with that news right at that time. For one thing, he is still suffering withdrawal, for another, the events of TFP have not yet happened so his emotions are still locked up tight within himself. I look forward to seeing where else you take this story.

Ha ha, I knew it! Well it will be interesting to see how this plays out. So, you portray Sherlock in a very dark way, with him continuing to use, it is quite heartbreking to read. I guess that makes sense of your story title.
It distresses me to see Sherlock this way. I hope Molly’s news will help him clean up his act!

Oh dear, it appears Molly and Sherlock had too much to drink...hmm, is this going to be another accidental pregnancy fic? I always kind of feel sad when people show Molly as a bit of a drinker, but the premise can certainly work if it is done well, and of course she would also have been devastated by Mary's death.

And Sherlock, stop calling her Hooper already, you always called her Molly before - are you trying to distance yourself from her?

It will be interesting to see how this plaays out...

What is sweet scene with Sherlock and Molly and Rosie. I'm glad Sean was able to make it to the hospital. How devastating it must have been for him to hear the news of her illness, but what a relief that it is not overly serious.

I really like the way you have begun the story, it is certainly different to start with Rosie getting sick.

I like how Sherlock tried to comfort Molly and say it wasn't her fault fault, and then his reflections on the fact that maybe it was his fault due to missed vaccinations, very interesting, although I found a little distracting that he called her Hooper rather than Molly. I don't think he ever calls her by her last name except in the abominable bride, but maybe I'm wrong. When he doesn't just called him Molly, he usually calls her Molly Hooper. But that's just a tiny little niggle.

I also like the way you showed John's thoughts and how he felt certain Sherlock could have avoided the bullet in someway. I had never thought of that before.

Anyway, very good start! If it takes me a while to review again, have no fear that I am reading and not reviewing. I reviewed every chapter, I just may not get to reading one every day. I have several other stories I am also trying to read as well so I need to juggle them, along with my own writing.

I am ecstastic about the four Holmes siblings thing! I was so CERTAIN that there were going to be 4 of them and that Sherrinford would be a fourth Holmes. I even got my sister to jump on board that crazy theory. But alas, sherrinford was merely a prison.

OH MY GOSH! So obviously by last chapter we knew this was headed towards Sherlolly...but I was NOT expecting this. I should have been. I really should have been. The signs were there! I'm wondering if you'll somehow incorporate TFP into this because that would really screw things up. haha. I'm really liking this so far! Glad there's more chapters already up to read!
