Typical James :D I love how determined he was to improve his cooking skills for Lily (while it's not my favorite James ship, they can be so cute!), and how he finally got that strawberry soufflé to turn out right. :p it's so true that Remus would be the best at cooking ( I assume because of his experience making things for Sirius!) so cute, thanks

Awww, poor James. The one thing he can cook and Lily's allergic. That's so tragic. But this made me laugh. I loved the banter between James and Sirius, and the effort that James kept putting in to impress Lily with his cooking even though he was terrible at it.
This was really sweet and an enjoyable, fluffy read :D

Ah she was allergic to strawberries XD That was unlucky! But this was so funny, with James' terrible attempts at cooking and Sirius' dramatics at being ill from James' cooking. The way it ended was really sweet as well - great job! I really enjoyed Lily having the power of being in control of the kitchen XD

I can definitely imagine James doing something like this for Lily (especially the part with Sirius bribing Marlene for more information about Lily to report back to his best friend).

I love that little part where Remus reaches out for the chocolate only to be smacked away by James. Gotta love Remus and his love for chocolate haha

Another thing, I also like how you did bash Peter in this. A lot of fanfics pile a lot of hate on him (and while I'm not exactly his fan, the distaste is aimed at older Peter, not the younger version of himself).

And the format of this is nice, how the following sections are instances in their lives where James cooks for them. The part where Lily and James have their little banter about the strawberry soufflé is hilarious and all kinds of adorable mixed together. The one thing James makes perfectly and Lily is allergic to it. What are the odds haha

First of all, I am so sorry at how late this is.

I thought this was a lovely story; I really liked how you showed different times James had tried cooking for Lily (though I think it might be a little easier to follow if you made it clearer how much time had passed — it’s just that it’s not clear between which sections they actually started dating, and I didn’t even realise they /were/ dating until right at the end of the third section).

I did think the first sentence read a little long (and there were a couple others, too) and there’s a couple times where you have [had had] and I think (though this could just be personal opinion) though grammatically correct, it’s usually best to avoid this repetition where possible. Also [reached past James to reach the chocolate] would probably read better with one of the [reach]s rephrased.

However, the only real mistakes I noticed were obviously typos — [come one now] should probably be [on], and [seeing as be bought] should be [we]. This was really well written, and I loved your characterisations. I thought there was some really great (and funny!) dialogue, particularly between James and Sirius, and I loved that James is a worse cook than me.
