Frwt chapter 6 . 5/1
i like this Jellal :D
yeah.. i still don't like his idea to betray and hurting erza again, but i still like his character, especially his response related with FT's member and their action:D

The style of this book has been hauntingly familiar to me the entire time, and I finally realized that it's just like The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. I wouldn't be surprised if you did that on purpose, I'm actually quite certain you did. But if you didn't and this is just your sense of humor, I highly recommend that you watch Saiki K. I think you would love it.
nothingwillsuffice chapter 7 . 4/25
I adore everything about your book so far, it's true art and genius. Well-written, accurate (to the characters), entertaining. . . And I certainly enjoyed the magic debate this chapter; the creativity and the realism of the ideologies blows me away. If these things were real, I feel that we could have a very meaningful discussion, you and I. The fact that you're clearly an intellect makes this story all the more satisfying, and I'm looking forward to the rest.
Fimayc chapter 27 . 4/25
This is by far the most amazing story that I've ever read. Loved the depiction of a more self assured and arrogant jellal and how he developed from a villain to a hero. I wished there was more to read Hehe. Kudos to you!
Somnolent Sushi Roll chapter 27 . 4/14
So... I spent almost two days reading this and it was a hell of a ride. There were a lot of times when I would punch my pillow in frustration XD like the during the talk at Akane Resort and the battle with Laxus. I also cried at some very heartwarming scenes. Thank you for this beautiful story. I tend to read stories focusing only on the relationship of the couple but this made me realize that even the relationships with their friends are just as entertaining and meaningful to read. So thank you. Have a virtual hug (oっ

And thanks for all the difficult words. It helped me in widening my vocabularyAnd this is probably the longest review I've ever made on any story but I wanted to express my gratitude to you.

Blessism chapter 27 . 10/17/2019
I really did enjoy this story, and the Fairy Tail mages having fun was plain entertaining to read about. I think Jellal’s speech to Laxus was very convincing, and you captured him perfectly. Jellal is such a resourceful person (as demonstrated canonically in the ToH arc), that you used his canon qualities and developed his character based on his observations, goals, ambitions, and emotions. I did feel like Jose would’ve had a more personal grudge against Jellal as much as he did with Makarov, but aside from that, I loved that arc. I was afraid Jellal was going to die any moment because of that wretched purple geezer. The only thing I thought was not appealing about Erza and Jellal’s relationship was that it somewhat felt one-sided. I was only perplexed by the fact that Erza wouldn’t leave Fairy Tail for Jellal, but he would automatically leave the Council for her in a heartbeat. True, she’s built a connection with Fairy Tail, but I think she really would make more sacrifices for him. I did, however, love how Jellal protected her no matter the cost, I thought he was going to die. Believe me when I say I was scared this was story was taking an angsty route. But other than that, you captured them wonderfully. She does value her friends, and I’m glad Jellal came to realize that Erza’s choices were for her to make. She’s gotta live for her friends, and I think Jellal wasn’t entirely selfish trying to save and stop her.

Thank you for this wonderful piece of work, this fic is my personal favourite.
Blessism chapter 7 . 10/12/2019
I totally agree with the Jellal and Levy friendship, they both are absolute bibliophiles. And how did you manage to make their conversation so intriguing? Color me impressed! I wouldn’t mind reading the first three drafts, you seem to have written everything as if it was canon, and I really admire you for taking the time and effort to perfect their dialogue.

Tbh I’m salty about Jellal’s lack of character development after the first season, so this fic makes me happy. It’s a beautiful piece of work, and I look forward to the 200,000 words (honestly the amount you wrote made me squeal in delight). Keep up the great work, your efforts are definitively appreciated. 3
Yuna chapter 27 . 10/1/2019
Wow, this fanfiction is really bullshitty crazy.

How did you even come up with a genius plot like this?
I love how you describe Jellal it is simply magnificent!
And his friendship with Levy is something I would have never expected as possible.
And how he always failed at kidnapping Erza, it was hilarious
Jellal is my second favourite Character after Zeref so I really love this fanfiction where I got to see this knew side of him!
Yuna chapter 11 . 9/30/2019
Is Jellal's magic some sort of flying magic though? To be honest I'm not sure about that... I mean it certainly accelerates his speed and he can go up in the sky with it, but does that count?
Your Favourite Author chapter 27 . 7/6/2019
I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that this is the best Fairy Tail story out there, and probably among the best stories on this entire site. I'm not saying that as exaggerated praise - this story is genuinely funny, with excellent characterisation (apart from Natsu who reminds me more of Naruto than of himself - other than him, the others are absolutely spot on), and with a plot-line that rewards multiple readings as you see how small foreshadowings and brick jokes come to completion. Everything is self-contained, leaving no questions unanswered, but you've also made the world Fairy Tail exists in come alive, which is no small feat given how poorly the actual manga and anime attempt to do so.

In that vein, I greatly appreciated the conversation Levy and Jellal have over the different schools of thought in the history of magic - it clearly demonstrated the brains of both of them, while also giving Jellal a reason to start warming up to the guild, while contextualising their world as well. On first reading I did find Jellal's characterisation towards the end a bit jarring, but I think that was more to do with being used to the amnesiac/penitent Jellal of later years than anything, although he possibly could've done with a bit more contrition at the end. Regardless, this is a truly great story. I'm sure there are many other things I could point to in showing why this is a great story, but I'll leave it there to simply say: well done.
Ftfan chapter 27 . 4/29/2019
I would just like to let a review after reading all this amazing and well written story about Jerza.
I know you probably won't even read this since it's been a while but I do feel the need to review it even though. This is one of my Jerza favs now and it deserves it... I'm really sorry I only read it now... but anyway, here it goes:

First, I was afraid of what this story would come out... because writting a pre tower of heaven arc fanfic based story is already that difficult no matter how I think about it (mainly cuz Jellal was still in his dark path maybe, and I did read fanfics that writters couldn't handle Jellal's char so well) but how this was so well pushed forward and so well thought/planed, I really appreciate the fact you did Jellal like that too, I swear when I read fanfics where he is like all rainbows just one chapter later being so rushed and out of place.. it just makes me hate it directly.. so I really appreciate you had such a slow but surely pace on this story.

Second, I do think adding other characters and their own moment with Jellal and Erza and the impact they also had in him was really a good idea, when I saw you half apologizing for adding Lucy at the first chapters I really was like "Pls don't I really like it." And honestly being an Fairy tail fan, if you don't like other characters especially the main character it's just weird xD But not only because of that, because as it should be good and all to have fanfics with only the couple being centered all the time, I do think in some story lines it is necessary to add other characters for the story to work better, so, another point taken.

Third, the three conditions you wanted to complete this story were really well thought and planned through the chapters too, but what made this really good was the fact you didn't rush them at all for happening, you also added relaxed and funny scenes or chapters wich I think complimented the story pretty well.

I do have to say I laughed so much with Jellal's misfortune I enjoyed it to the core. I appreciate everything you wrote and how you did too, your grammar is also pretty good and clean (at least on my POV, english is not my first lang anyway).

The fact you chose to actually do fairy tail original arcs after the tower of heaven made me think what would be like if you had wrote a whole new fanfiction with all the arcs on it (especially after tenrou to the alvarez), because you seem to create good fights and scenes over the original ones, not to say for Jerza because I feel Jellal's char being one of my favs with Erza felt so wasted sometimes (esp at GMG and Tartaros).. or even Erza char... oh and their moments. Sobs*

But anyway not to make this any longer than it is xD I just want to thank you really and I wanted you to know even though it's been awhile there is still people reading it yes (late ppl like me). So THANK YOU 3
Step Of Death chapter 1 . 3/15/2019
I have no words to describe how amazing it is to have stumbled across this story. I was convinced that there wasn't a single talented person in this fandom, given how nearly every single Fairy Tail fanfic I've seen so far are either some cringy Highschool AUs or equally retarded trash that has nothing to do with Fairy Tail. Your story, however, looks very promising and I'm very excited to read more.

I'd argue that Gray and Natsu's manner of speech is a bit more informal (They use "somethin'", "c'mere" and so on, at least as far as I can remember), but other than that everyone seems to be in character, which is a huge plus for me. I'm always up for lenghty stories with nice grammar and that follow the original plot closel. Thankfully, this story seems to be exactly that. I didn't know what to expect from the synopsis, but Jellal joining the guild? That was a pleasant surprise and I'm at the edge of my seat to see more. I like how you still managed to keep the story funny with everyone's antics, despite this being a story about kidnapping and destroying the world. I also can't wait to see how you'll delevop their romance from here, seeing how hellbent Jellal is on his revenge.

Overall this was a great start, and it's a relief to find something readable from this fandom for once. I want to congratulate you on a work well done (which is making a compelling first chapter and making me interested to see more), and tell you that I expect a lot from this story! :)
takedigi chapter 27 . 2/8/2019
I loved this story. It has been incredible. The characters, the plot, the adventures, the moments of friendship, humor, and the story of Erza and Jellal-Siegrain. Amazing.
zoepeanut chapter 27 . 1/21/2019
I loved this story! It was hilarious watching Jellal try and come up with schemes to kidnap Erza...only to be foiled by girls trying to spy on what they thought were dates. I see what you mean about misunderstandings turning out rather well. It made for a rather great story, with Jellal's constant irritation and unwilling aid towards Fairy Tail. Plus, I think you did a good job building his relationships with the other Fairy Tail members to make this more believable as to why he joined the guild.
