This is hands-down the best AU story I've read. Every character is written beautifully, and you totally get their personalities from canon across while also making some changes based on the world you've created. I absolutely love the idea of the Connected, and the way everything fits together between the four different "classes" is a great reflection of the canon dynamic.

I'm also a huge fan of Sai and Yamato playing roles in the story. So many times these two characters are dropped out of the "Team 7" dynamic, which is such a shame since they were one of the better parts of Shippuden. When Sakura went to rescue Sai and he exclaimed that she was "uglier in person" I seriously laughed out loud and you nailed his character.

This story revealed just enough about the world to make it intriguing without being an overload of information which happens in a lot of other AU's. I'm honestly very tempted to write a story based in this world if you would be cool with that. I think a prequel story from Yamato's POV about his time in Root and his eventual union with the rest of his team would be super fun to write.

Anyways, amazing story! The pacing was great, and having Sakura as the central character was a good decision since you crafted her to be a very strong "base" for the team. I'm always a fan of authors who give Sakura some good development!

ahhhh i love this story so much! this au is perfect - i mean, you captured the team 7 dynamics so perfectly and they way you've blended canon plot points and ideas into your own story is just amazing 333 i have no idea what's gonna happen next. i mean, will orichimaru come back? will the chuunin exams be a part of this, but altered? will sasuke still leave even though he has a closer bond with team 7? mAyBe something happens to the link to drive him away from team 7?
