I think you have a particular knack for writing when it comes to couples that are (more or less) polar opposites... Merthur, Johnlock, and now Jim/Spock! I've always kinda wanted to find a fic where something like this happens - Jim bonding with Spock before they even enter Starfleet, keeping their relationship on the down-low, surprising the hell outta everyone they know (especially Uhura) when they find out lol. You did this idea more than just a little bit of justice, my friend! You nailed it! :D I especially love that you didn't make Uhura into a spiteful b*tch, even though that would have been so easy to do, and the relationship between Jim and Amanda is SO sweet that I teared up a little!

You should definitely write some more Jim/Spock, because there's no such thing as too much of those two! As always, keep up with all the excellent work you do! :)
