I’ve read this story multiple times! Sorry I didn’t review it sooner. There’s a typo towards the end of the story. In the sentence where you said, “he let out a sort snore”, did you mean to put, “he let out a soft snore”? Other than that, good job! Btw, I agree. Kanan was like a dad.

AND OH MY GOODNESS KANAN. "I feel like such a dad." YES. The best part is, I can actually see him saying something like that in the show. Rebels doesn't tend to shy away from the Space Family vibe.

I am new to the Star Wars Rebels fandom, and to be honest, it's the only think I really like (or know too much about) in the entirely of Star Wars, aside from having watched the three originals back when I was a child.
I have found a soft spot for Ezra's and Zeb's friendship and for the Master/Padawan relationship between Kanan and Ezra. This fic touches on both, so it was thoroughly enjoyable. Great job and thanks for the entertainment. And by the way, I LOVE the way it ended, and was hoping it would be something like that, ha!

Lol that has run through my mind a few times as well. I like to say he's got a leak in the Force. It could also be a common symptom for sick Jedi. Their minds are so clouded when they are sick they lose control over the force. Normally someone would have to counter a sick Jedi. Kanan normally does so with Ezra when he's sick. When Kanan is sick the crew just work around it. Ezra doesn't know how to counter yet.
