I really enjoyed this story. It’s almost two ships passing in the night while looking for each other. Ianto may know everything physically obtainable but he doesn’t know everything of the heart. That is the essence of Janto and you write it very well.

Nice short story, I really enjoyed it. Honestly these two and their misunderstandings, but it was nice to see Ianto out with some friends outside Torchwood. Nice to think of him and Jack going there to see people who know nothing about Torchwood, time to live normal lives for a bit.

Loved this :) A little bit sad, then rather sweet. Love the idea of Ianto having friends that think Jack offered payment for a night with him. Thanks for sharing.

This is a compelling story with a Jack and Ianto relationship burgeoning nicely, perhaps leading on to some domesticity.
A lot of fan fic says Jack doesn't do domesticated relationships but I don't ever remember that coming up in canon. Maybe someone else does? Meanwhile, bring it on!

Where would Jack and Ianto be without their misunderstandings? Probably more well-adjusted.
Oh, well. I'm happy they got to have a good evening together, even if they both faced some heartbreak on the way. It's so sweet of Jack to do something romantic like that, and it's nice that everyone cared so much about Ianto when they thought he'd been stood up. I liked his friends!
So of course Jack and Ianto spend a lovely, smut-filled night in the deluxe suite on the fourteenth floor.

Lovely story. I can actually see the comedy of assumption here on both sides, Ianto telling himself it doesn't matter, and Jack not realizing what is happening.

I'm glad Torchwood keeps bugging you. I love your stories. I think that you should do a story or stories on the pub and Ianto's friends. You could do one like when Jack is being especially an ass (like on the space whale one and Jack and Gwen's conversation). Well you are better at this than I am. That's why I read and don't write.
