Reminded me of another fic, Ranma’s Horrible Secret, wherein Ranma is asexual due to a nail being driven trough his brain due to Genma’s training. Cute a whole lot of amusing reactions.

The funny thing is I'm picturing Tomoe was only planning to keep it on Ranma until the two were going to be leaving. Just being over protective of his daughter. Since Genma ran off in the middle of the night he never got the chance.

Maybe he thought he was helping Ranma. That the training Genma described scared him, and he thought if the boy became weak he would give up and let the kid be normal.

I really like it! You get the spirit of the series really well. I hope that Ranma could get with the three fiancés sure all his pent suppress hormones will be solved by that! He can be an amazon with all of them and problem solved!

Shampoo don't have any claim on Ranma, that's not how Amazon law work, it's Shampoo not Ranma who's sentenced, Ranma is merely collateral damage, but just like the kiss of death, isn't actually a death sentence, on the one it's given to by the Amazon nation, but a sentence, of having to kill the one who defeated them on the defeated Amazon, the kiss of marriage, don't obligate the Outsider male to marry the Amazon he defeated, it obligates the Amazon to marry the Outsider male who defeated her.

This is an important distinction, because it mean that by Amazon law, Ranma is totally in the clear refusing to marry Shampoo, which is why the only assistance Shampoo is getting is from Cologne, they aren't actually considered married by Amazon law, Shampoo is just considered, to be sentenced to a quest with the goal of marrying Ranma, and the Amazon nation don't generally provide help with quests, it's not forbidden for Amazons to help other Amazons with their quests, but they aren't required to do so.

Ranma is in a worse spot than the average Outsider male, because he defeated an Amazon with a powerful Great-grandmother, who find helping Shampoo catch Ranma an amusing passtime.

Or this is how I think things work at least, the kisses of death and marriage are clearly mirrors, and the kiss of death, only aim the Amazon you defeated at you, it don't cause all Amazons to have to kill you, in the same way, the kiss of marriage, is not an actual marriage, it's an Amazon declaring they're starting a quest to marry you, that will only end when you're married, or one of you is dead.

Which of course don't make it any better, but it do mean that you can get out of both the kiss of death, and the kiss of marriage, by killing the bitch who used them on you, as they're quests of honor given to the defeated Amazon, not punishment given to you, you're just the unlucky beast they have to slay, or treasure they have to claim, in order for them to earn redemption.

Honestly had to reread this story and I'm glad I did cause for some reason I thought that Ranma ws the one who used the pressure point on himself for some reason. Also I remembered that this story was the reason I found the webcomic Grrl Power! and I am glad it did cause I love it. Especially when protag Sydney ends up lost in space. Although I have to wonder what will happen now that Colonge and Happosai are aware of the ZoT and what will be revealed by/due to their abusing it?
