I have nothing against your story but I find it confusing why Marcus, the chosen undead and undoubtedly a veteran in fighting, makes rookie mistakes from time to time like a beginner. I mean, even if the stats get reverted, the experience shouldn't have gone away since he has all his memories. A crude comparison would be a soulsborne veteran. If you've played a game in the series before, even if they added new mechanics or change some existing ones, as long as the core concepts and gameplay are the same, the familiarity would've enabled these veterans to be more likely be better and adapt faster than any newbie who just started. So in comparison, instead of the veteran Chosen Undead, Marcus is acting like the Ashen newbie counterpart that would've been called in his place which does not fit somebody who would've been a veteran if he completed his journey. Even amnesia cannot remove the honed in instinct built up by a person. But that's just my opinion... I still respect your own creative decisions since this is your story.

It saddens me that Marcus is not even remembered Elisabeth. I can't wait until the watchers discover the he is their sempai and he does notice them.

It was Awesome! HURRY with the next one yeah? And i hope eventually the truth is revealed that he is the chosen undead. I also hated Elizabeth for withholding that information, the humans were never given credit for anything; the war against the dragons, The chosen undead's feats in Oolacile, and his linking of the flame.
