This fic is absolutely fantastic! I've seen quite a few fics about Natsume turning into a god or a youkai, and yours is really interesting since it also involves his ancestors. I'm really curious about the first Natsume who received the eyes, and how it will further affect Takashi. So far, the poor boy has done a good job at keeping everything together, but I fear he might just burst with so much pressure and fear he's bottling up. Telling the truth to Kitamoto and Nishimura relieve a bit the burden, but now he will be scared for them... The conversation they had was really nicely written, the anger and frustration Nishimura let out is totally something I'd see him do since he has, in fact, let Natsume get away with all these strange occurrences, and had to worry in silence.

I love reading about Madara being his grumpy and annoying self, just to hide how much care and concern he has for Natsume ;w; Especially since in this fic, he knows much more than he lets on, and the main antagonist is his brother. His presence alone is a reassurance and a comfort to Natsume.

Matoba Kaiyo is an interesting character, I like the relationship you decided to build for her and Natsume. At first I thought she'd be much more agressive and cold, but I largely prefer this quiet and friendly relationship they have!

Wow... this chapter was written so well... it takes a lot for me to really be touched by anything that's not in real life (I generally laugh at character deaths or just sigh) but everything was put so well and the feelings of betrayal Madoka felt were portrayed perfectly! I actually had tears going down my face. It was kinda nice. This must be confusing for you but I just loved it so much! You did it so well and it didn't feel forced or shallow. I hope even though this is finished you keep writing other things too! This book so far has been great and I will be looking at your page when I am done with this (goodness knows when that'll be. I know what you mean about work and school... and I'm still a minor!). Thank you so much! Now - next chapter!

The story is exciting so far, and I can't wait to continue!
One minor error keeps snapping me out of my immersion into the story: when describing someone clenching their teeth together, the correct word is "grit", not "greet". Ex: "He grit his teeth together."
It would be a much better reading experience if you could correct that.
