I just noticed something doesn't quite add, Noin should have been in the hospital sick herself the same time Relena was brought right?
Forgive my doctor brain but this one just flashed at me the most,
But I really really loved it,
And contrary to what you wrote at the beginning to find the characters slightly off characters, I found them not,
Heero is actually a responding guy and would talk with people, mean sometimes especially for Duo but he does makes conversation like that. So for me you just captured the post war real Heero
I really enjoyed it and had a good time reading it

This is so good! I hope you update soon! I really enjoy reading about Heero and Relena's entanglements, their deep feelings for each other, and how they handle their difficult positions/roles.

Noin peered at her over the rim of her coffee cup as she held it poised to take a sip, "Seems that's when you're most likely to vanish."

Seems like Relena should have realized Noin is not that unaware of her disappearing act. Tsk tsk Relena.

He led her out the building the same way he came in. She was amazed he knew the interior of the building so well, almost better than she did.

Did he lead her from the window or the door from her office?

Hahaha, is he squatting in Relena's house? She leaves and he then walks out of a room and starts making breakfast in her kitchen :P

They definitely need to get it on in the future, sometime... all this tension between them is killing me ;)

Finally they kissed! It was worth the build up and wait. I love that Heero is assuring Relena that although he might have to leave, it's not like he won't be back.

He didn't try to hide his amusement, "You said it to me."

"On a scale of one to ten do you know how much I hate you right now?"

"Is that any way to talk to the future father of your children?"

She squinted at him so hard her eyes were all but closed, "Off the charts!"

I could not stop laughing. I hope they do get married in the future and that Heero attends Noin and Zechs wedding as Relena's date.
