This was adorable! I love how determined Elena was to chop that tree down herself and the little banter that led to Damon helping. The hypothermia was a great way to get them inside and for their truths to come out. Seeing them spark that flame after years of waiting on the other was touching... and yeah... so damn cute. I can't say that enough.

I have all the giddy feelings right now.

I love that Elena tried her best to chop down the tree but they're strong and firm. When a car wraps itself around one, the tree usually comes out of it unscathed, the driver not so much.
