CMA6725 chapter 1 . 6/4 that was a fun read. thanks for sharing. |
kasiaeliza chapter 1 . 12/12/2019 So light and humour story, I read it twice now and can't stop laughing. I love spoiling female joke about the horse, Zorro's teasing about Diego and truce with Mendoza with flan. And young don's love for cake and Felipe's ban on it. I know that the flan is the main topic of the story, but it could be some more when You gave yourself hooks to continue like Victoria's singing and Christmas Party. What if she served him another flan then and he (under Felipe with a meaningful look) refused? ;-d |
mjf2468 chapter 1 . 1/1/2017 1. "give way to a female"! A very original scene. I loved it 2."He had a sweet tooth to thank for avoiding capture this time." Another original scene. Well done! 3.I 'almost' could see Victoria knowing Diego is Zorro by her comment to Mendoza. If I squint, ha. 4."anything for the mission", Victoria? Does that include an unplanned solo of a skill Zorro never knew you had? Hmm? 5. I'm going to be surprised if Zorro will be able to fit into those tight slacks come January, ha. Or Diego his blue ones. 6. Irony: preventing the robbery of your own reward money. How very true, Diego. 7. Hmm, I really should've expected Diego to get sick from all that flan. As well as not having anything else more substantial to eat to balance all that sugar. It caught me by surprise. Now, if he could only control himself, he could eat flan in the future, I'd think. Unless...this experience would turn him off it, like it usually does for a person getting sick from a particular foot, or drink. Poor Diego! Simply wonderful story! As always. Maybe an epilogue or a second chapter to say how the next Christmas season goes? One last question. I'm not familiar with flan, but does it go bad? Was his sickness actually food poisoning, or did he get sick from the choir member missing the pageant because of stomach flu, not a cold? |
DietMJ chapter 1 . 12/25/2016 What a nice story. I thought it was going to be opposite- getting much flan and not wanting it. Your take was even better. |
Sunny chapter 1 . 12/25/2016 Oh, I like this story. |
Dapet chapter 1 . 12/24/2016 Very cute, Linda. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! |
QueenNaberrie chapter 1 . 12/26/2016 LOL! Does serve him right. ;) Not that I'm happy Diego is ill, of course. Absolutely *LOVE* the the whole banter where Zorro finally says, "If it turns out that I am Diego, then you've given me hope." ;) Victoria missed that HUGE hint, as always. She thought he was joking...but he wasn't really. hee hee She also missed the clue when she couldn't hear Toronado's hooves galloping away. That right there says, Zorro is still in town...perhaps even might be in the Christmas pageant at the church. Love this! Thank you for writing and sharing. |
La Cuidadora chapter 1 . 12/25/2016 Poor Diego! Learning the hard way the error of over indulgence. I hope he can eventually eat flan again. Carrying a spoon in case someone offers him flan is hilarious. Very cute story. Thanks for sharing it. |
katie1999 chapter 1 . 12/25/2016 Funny story. Flan has lost its charm for Diego. I liked the details you put in like the spoon in the pocket. |
KatieZfan chapter 1 . 12/25/2016 Overindulging during the holidays! A familiar complaint for all! Loved V's line "Then I will love Diego!" LOL! Christmas memories - :) Thanks for the cute little Christmas story! Merry Christmas! |
mmkbrook chapter 1 . 12/24/2016 Over indulging brought down our hero. One flan to many. |
