Wow, this is a great fic, really well wrote. I love what you've done with the storyline and I look forward to reading more of it.

I really hope you continue the story. I started to laugh at "Kaiba groaned, rubbing his temples as he realized that his train of thought had not only fallen off the track, but was now trying to go in circles despite being overturned, badly dented, and probably also on fire." It was a funny moment in a wonderfully dark story dealing with important issues. I agree with you about Anzu. She definitely deserves better than she gets at the hands of the fandom. I love that Kaiba is obsessing about Atem. I can just see the expression on a healthcare professional's face though if he were to admit that he wants to duel with an ancient Egyptian pharaoh!

As I said before, I really hope you continue the story. I find it very intriguing

Huh... I liked the humorous bits and how poor Otogi is the least fit to deal with all this XD; Diabound being in reality is a bit worrisome, cause if it's there what else could be? I love Atem's list of all the murderous jerks who tried to kill them XD The flashbacks were sad too... it seems like everyone is remembering different pieces of his story. It's gonna SUCK if they get to any of Zorc's memories D:

Heyyo, you mentioned that you were looking for reviews, so here ya go. First off, I know what you mean about the Anzu/Tea hate, probably because she's only a useless side character in the anime and not quite as fleshed-out as she is in the manga.. Although it definitely seems to outweigh the Honda/Tristan hate.. As far as anime goes, I really like Takahashi's way of portraying his female side characters since they all seem to have a lot of depth to them.

I'm liking your story so far, even though it took me some time to get used to the present-tense writing style. It's nice how you seem to give each character a role to play in the story, instead of only focusing it around 2 or 3 people and shafting the rest.

TL;DR: I'm really enjoying your style! Please write more

Can I just say how much I love the line 'how to challenge an ancient Egyptian Pharoah to a children's trading card game wasn't exactly something one could google.' Seriously, I love it. Probably amuses me more then it should XD Hahaha oh Kaiba.

Even if I am a little late reviewing (I like to stockpile fics and then read them on Sundays when I have the most time), I am still here, enjoying your story and writing style. Can't wait for the next chapter!

It's really sad that this story doesn't get more reviews or general notice. I think it's awesome. But I do know where you're coming from and that the majority of people prefer shipping over other stuff. Not that that's wrong but it sucks when you don't write shipping stuff I guess.

I really liked the story personally. Not hugely into shipping myself. I'd love to go into detail about characterization and pacing and things but I'm not good at explaining all that. I feel bad to basically just leave what is essentially 'It's awesome' for something so well written but this is long enough and I'm really sorry I rambled.

I just found this story today, and I must say, I have quite enjoyed it so far. So much so that I read it all in one go! Your writing style is really satisfying to read. It's an interesting story you have here, and I certainly wouldn't mind some Vexbroshipping :)
