But let's see, I'm ruling out all the headmasters, if only because of their parenting skills (and how their position and beliefs might influence that), so that leaves Qrow, Glynda(?) and maaaaybe Pyrrha's family. Jaune's family is already big enough as it is and Pyrrha could use a playmate or two to stave of her loneliness. Plus, they're already in Minstral anyway.

If I had to think of someone else then...maybe Pietro? He's a jolly guy, and being a doctor makes him a bit of a compassionate fellow already. Being one of the higher ups in Atlas probably gives him more security too.

Hi, if it wasn't obvious already–I'm a new reader, but I can assuredly say that reading every chapter of this has made my day. I know you've said in your notes how frustrating it is to write at times due to either irl stuff or even the story responses themselves, but know that at the end of the day YOU are the one writing this story. YOU decided to write this for yourself as a hobby/escape, and I say NO ONE can dictate what you want to do to with it. If they want to keep harping on, then let them, but don't let that criticism stop you from doing what you love and spoiling your happiness.

I, myself, am just starting out college and going out into the world, but if it's as stressful as you make it sound, then I think the small joys will be worth keeping...and if that means taking a long break or distancing yourself from the negativity to focus on yourself, then go for it. I may just be a stranger on the internet, but know that there's always someone who cares.

Haha, kinda seems like Winter's a foreign exchange student in this case. Although her presence in Patch also reminds me of the promise James had for the Schnee kids to take a break, so I'm also a bit bummed for Weiss, maybe even Whitley.

I know that it wouldn't be surprising for a toddler to have a scribbly handwriting, but now I'm more curious if it was because of her age or if it was because they were teaching her to write in her RIGHT hand instead of her LEFT, because I'm pretty sure Weiss is a lefty.

I was confused by the "blue eyes" line at first, but then I thought that maybe that's just a baby thing since the same thing happens to puppies before settling on an eyecolor. Also, now that you mention Ozpin...I sincerely hope Summer doesn't die here and consequently have Raven leave because BOI, I will give my life for these fam's happiness.

I see that baby Ruby ALREADY wants to run around and explore the world, haha! xD I love my Rosebird fam.

Three chapters in and I'm already so enamoured with these kids, gah! I love that the servants all band together to take care of Winter and Weiss, and support from Ironwood and Papa Nick was a nice touch too! x3

You know I just realized how much of a slow burn this story is like dang. Also wow I just realized how much I hate the hypocritical fanuas like not all the fanuas but the ones who are basically as racist as jaquees and even jaquees isn't that bad he's just an idiot.

On the constructive critism side: That's a big jump in years all of a sudden and I am wondering where you are going to take Winter and Weiss. I am also glad that daddy Jimmy can spend more time with his (unofficial) daughter But now I am curious as to why Willow isn't as active with ehr children any longer? Did Jacky do something evil again? Do we need to punish him for real now? So whose turn is it next? If my count is correct it'll be Ruby and Yang again right?
