| Random Flyer chapter 1 . 9/20/2018 I can't tell you how refreshing reading Mat's perspective in this chapter was. I've only just started reading Daredevil/Defenders fics and so far I've been a little disappointed in the limited number of stories and how poorly a lot of people have handled writing from Mat's perspective. It's like they've forgotten that Mat's eyes don't actually work and they need to use the other four senses to describe the world around him. So your story right here is amazing for actually describing the world how I'd picture Mat experiencing it. You did an excellent job with Barry, too, so I'm excited to read the next chapter for this as well as a little sad this story's on hiatus. Here's to hoping you find the inspiration, time and energy to write more of it at some point. I'm also looking forward to your other stories so at least I have that! Happy writing. |
