Anushka Somavanshi chapter 1 . 12/12/2018 Wow i need another chapter |
ArmedfortheKing chapter 1 . 3/24/2018 How beautifully written! If ever you feel a whim to expand upon this story, I believe there are a great many people who would be over the moon. I dearly loved your Erik’s inner thought process and ’s rare to see such a true-to-character portrayal stay so consistent even after he receives kindnesses. Too often I see a complete shedding of his inhibitions after he’s graced with even one scrap of decency, but the gradual acceptance that her leaving is not always something to mourn is most endearing and true to life. And Christine’s spunk is simply delicious. While she’s highly empathetic and strives to do as little harm to him as possible when treading on the very new ground of giving gifts to this broken man, the moment she puts her foot down near the frozen lake made me smile. She manages to strike the perfect balance between when to treat him gently and when to verbally shake some sense into the poor dramatic skeleton man! Thank you very much for a glimpse into this universe. |
labdelmar chapter 1 . 12/5/2017 What a beautiful fic! I am a sucker for Christmas themed stories, and this is one of the best. Loved your interpretation of a modern Leroux. |
Riene chapter 1 . 11/28/2017 Oh this is just lovely. Erik is so filled with longing and disbelief, Christine is so determined to make it happen. Great description of his skin, the park, and his confusion. And a happy ending! I really enjoyed this. |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/26/2017 Wow, this is so lovely that I had a lump in my throat. Wish it were longer! Please consider continuing this story or fleshing out their background. Edda |
ElodieJane chapter 1 . 12/27/2016 (giggles as I picture Erik in a ski mask) Ski masks! |
Phanma chapter 1 . 12/18/2016 A black SKI MASK! I laughed so hard... That's so sweet that she got one for herself. ...maybe they would see the world the same way. (I LOVE THAT) I liked your story. It was nice! |

LaLadyCavalier chapter 1 . 12/11/2016 UUUUUUGH IT WAS RIDICULOUSLY HEART-WARMING FLUFF AND YET SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! Excuse me, I have to go cry into a cup of cocoa and then brush me teeth after reading this sweet thing. TTvTT |
SpookyMormonHellDream chapter 1 . 12/11/2016 This made me smile :) Fantastic job here! I love modern interpretations of Leroux, and you did a fantastic job of capturing his characters here. I say that in a lot of my reviews of various authors' stories, I know, but that's something I really look for in phiction, and I just love to read the work of talented authors that bring out their own plots and unique interpretations by drawing from the originals. Again, fantastic job, this one's a keeper ;) |
Not A Ghost3 chapter 1 . 12/11/2016 Great! Do you plan on entering this in the POTO Christmas one-shot contest? |
QueenoftheNight82 chapter 1 . 12/11/2016 I thought this was sweet! Very moving & well done :-D |

Melancholy's Child chapter 1 . 12/11/2016 Oh my gosh this is probably the best Christmas Phanfic I've ever read! Truly lovely with so much terrific details - the creased shirt sleeves that he'd just rolled down, the description of his face beneath the ski mask. I want more more more of this! |
