LadyShellshock chapter 1 . 6/4/2017
Cute!
Emmeebee chapter 1 . 3/18/2017
Oh, that makes sense. After reading Spring, I had been wondering why Sakura had been the one to go, but your reasons for them not sending any of the other Hoshidan siblings makes perfect sense. I love Sakura's response; it was really in character for her to be nervous but to feel a sense of duty. It was also interesting to read about the other gaps in what Leo had been able to see, such as the whispers Sakura overhears and the tea between Camilla and Sakura.
SchwaAkari chapter 1 . 1/8/2017
You captured so many emotions with this one. My heart is caught in my throat.

Thank you for this short and glorious piece. Thank you for the pictures it paints.
Guest chapter 1 . 12/7/2016
That was so sweet! I really like the style and flow of the short sections. The mentions of Xander and Elise threatened to make me cry, in both a sad and good way.
Zenzia chapter 1 . 12/8/2016
Oooo, I love this fic! So sweet but oh my gosh, both Elise and Xander died? Super sad. How did Elise die? Is that explained? Will there be more? Thx for the wonder full story
Caellach Tiger Eye chapter 1 . 12/8/2016
Aside from the slight retcon to take an element of REV and put it in (unnecessarily, I might add), this was quite a nice take on post-BR with Leo/Sakura in it. On both this route and CQ, I appreciate when writers such as you are delicate about the political climate - Corrin's difficult status for picking a side notwithstanding, how does one tackle the fact that two royals were lost to the winning side of the war? With that it certainly makes sense that there'd be assassins, the ambassador would struggle emotionally AND politically (especially someone like Sakura), and any romantic leanings would ultimately be slowburn in development... Let's be honest though, Sakura WOULD probably be the best choice to negotiate with Nohr post-war - I can definitely see her being intelligent about these matters, making an impact despite her (seeming) shortcomings, and those who would see her value like Leo and Camilla would definitely be on her side here.

I also appreciate her retainers' protectiveness, what with their struggling to get by in such a different world than they're used to and yet they do their jobs - considering that she's the most unassuming "Fates" royal, Sakura has some truly dedicated friends by her side when she needs them... Oh, Camilla broke my heart - she just needed someone with her on Elise's birthday (the first one without her little sister) - and yet Sakura obviously couldn't replace her if she tried. And Leo has that burden along with the crown that Xander should have worn, but life is cruel... Yet everything feels, appropriately, like it can slowly get better; that the scars of the war can heal with time. If Sakura's self-confidence can grow, just a little, from enduring this - and from forming a bond with Leo and Camilla - then she can start to represent that hope for a bridge between the two once-enemy countries. Lovely.

Gods-SPEED!
