So Ruby seems to be getting more used to the lifestyle of being Weiss' servants. Well, nice to see she's liking it overall, minus the laundry part. Lol

So being a warrior was something she dreamed about when she was younged, huh? A shame she didn't get to live such a dream after becoming a slave. However, if Weiss will let her practice swordmanship, it's at least a start somewhere.

Overall, a pretty nice chapter here. Looking forward to more.

I'm kinda sad that Weiss's horse isn't named Stardust, and I think that this could've used another pass or two for proofreading. But, it's incredibly entertaining to watch Ruby trying to figure Weiss out, and I'd say that makes up for any other issues.

Read this a while ago, but anyway, it seems like an interesting start so far. Whether the noble/slave romance setup may be cliche or not, I generally don't hold cliches against a story as long as the writing is still decent.

Furthermore, like another guest said, you have Weiss as the warrior here, when it's usually Ruby in stories like thing, so it's kind of refreshing to see a reversal. If anything that's already something to help set this apart.

Small nitpick, but during this sentence here, I think you meant to say appealing, as opposed to appalling.

"but his friendliness even to an ex-slave like herself was really appalling"

I can see why Ruby would want willingly want to be Weiss' servant. For one, there's the debt of kindness for freeing her, and there's also the fact that she doesn't have anything to her name.

I'm curious to see where this goes, and maybe learning a bit more on Ruby's past, with how she ended up in her previous situation.

This is really interesting so far. I love how you portray Weiss in your story because even if she still has this high authority, she's still very much Weiss. I find it so cute Ruby could make Weiss so thirsty and make her do crazy things already. I'm so excited to see where their relationship goes.

It might be the typical noble/slave story but I'm loving every second of it. Good job.
It is also nice and refreshing to read that Weiss is the strong Knight, in most stories it is usually Ruby the strong hero.

Was definitely not expecting Weiss to set Ruby free after the truce with the Khan. Glad Ruby decided to be a servant, of course outta thankfulness. Cliche the plot may be, these stories never cease to put a smile on my face. The setting is different, and the origins are different. If you continue on this path, I can't wait to read more.

There's some typos here and there, but the setting is quite interesting and you convey its elements well. The premise is quite interesting too.
