Wonderful chapter! Dani chooses to run but leaves Charlie with a bit of hope which is beautiful. And Dani knows just where she has to go to figure this out. Your conversation between mother and daughter is very real. I loved it and how Dani’s mom got her to see the truth. Now what will Dani do with that truth? And where is Jack Reese?

Yay! Ted! I practically can HEAR him, when you write him. I really love his interaction with Charlie there, where Ted does all the talking with Crews communicating by saying nothing. (Ok, I admit: TEd doesn't really give him a chance)
As for Dani wanting to leave: Noooo, stay ;)

So glad to see a new chapter! So much is left hanging in this chapter that I don’t know how long I can wait to read what comes next. Jack Reese outside Charlie’s house waiting to kill him when Dani leaves, and Dani IS leaving. Why can’t she accept that she is worthy of love? And Ted is back - maybe he’ll protect Charlie from Jack to pay Charlie back for all of the times in prison. Just really really happy you are writing and adding to this wonderful story.

It’s below zero and there’s snow on the ground with more expected but the sun is shining and there’s a new chapter in this lovely story. It’s perfect that Dani’s brother inspired Charlie to be a police officer. Another connection in a lifetime of connections between these two. Thank you for taking the time to keep this excellent show alive.
