| ahiijny chapter 6 . 9/25/2018 I just remembered this and read the whole thing again. I love this story; I think it's very well-written. Yokoi x Seki is just the cutest. I love all of the callbacks to Yokoi and Seki's shared memories from their high school days (from manga canon), like the Demon Lord drawing, and the tea recital ceremony. It's sad how they got separated in their senior year of high school, but I'm glad they found each other again! I like the subtle little bits of continuity here and there, filling us in on what happened since the canon timeframe. Yokoi and Seki talking about their high school days, cuddled next to each other in a hammock up in a tree on a snowy night... it's such a wonderful atmosphere! It was also nice seeing Uzawa, Toyama, and Gotou make an appearance. The Gotou-san chapter was very fun. Gotou-san is all of us; shipping Yokoi and Seki :P Those two are just so adorable together! |
