Pit's life has been nothing but pain. So Pit will fly up?

This is a pretty good story so far. I always enjoy ones about Pit's past life.

While everything seems intact, I must say that the pacing is a bit too fast. Even though this story falls under alternative canon, I would have personally loved to see how Pit rose to the ranks of being in charge of Palutena's personal bodyguards (something that happened before the first Kid Icarus game). It would have also be interesting to see what the other angels (young and old alike) thought of him, especially since he's flightless (was he bullied, used, etc.) you know, things that led him to repressing his feelings and preferring to work alone rather than getting help. It would be nice to get more acquainted with his mother as well before her unfortunate event.

Other than that, you have a great story but I do feel that more could be touched up upon before we see the events of the first game.

Wow, talk about a sudden turn of events. Wasn't expecting that!
This kind of reminds me of Lion King, how Mufasa died, and then Simba climbs down into the gorge, and looks for him.
This is going in a very interesting direction...I'm looking forward to it!

I've always wondered where Pit really came from. Hope it's like Po's backstory from Kung-fu Panda 2. Make sure it happened when he was a baby and why Palutena's like a mother to him, okay?
Anyways, keep up the good work and Happy 30th Anniversary, Kid Icarus! :D
