The storyline seems to share similarities with TFA as well...
And I'm curious how much of Optimus Prime's pragmatism from the non-movie-franchise elements you'll incorporate here as more Autobots (and Decepticons?) enter the scene. Because that will color his interactions with the flawed authority figures like Piggot, Alexandria, Cauldron, etc.
Heck, I'm curious as to how you'll set the power difference between the Autobots and the Entity(ies?). You've already declared the Transformers Civilization - which is mostly pulverized, as being Tier 3.
And of course, Dragon - Autobots. You could either go with the Autobots learning of her situation and immediately go hunt down the Dragonslayers, or have it take more time for the two sides to coordinate and reveal themselves. Either way though, I don't see that storyline taking very long to trigger.
Lastly, your decision to alter the Hebert family and Taylor's backstory...I'm hoping to see more about what happened and how it changes Taylor.

Have you ever thought about doing an Evangellion and Transformers crossover? Also does Optimus have all his powers from across the franchise? If not, I humble request that you do so Optimus can be the awesome warrior that we all know and love.

If I were you I would take a look at the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Prime crossovers by lyokoMARVELanime and if you take a look at the various Transformers comics and Transformers Prime and their expanded universe material in the Aligned Continuity to try and help develop Taylor into someone more confident and into a real hero.

Now if you do my Evangellion and Transformer request Optimus and the Autobots have to have all the powers from all across the franchise, Take the YouTube Video Who is the STRONGEST Optimus Prime? by Diamond Bolt as a measure of the powers and abilities of the Transformers(including cannon supplementary material of those media incarnations)for the Autobots and Decepticons and the Angels have to be godlike eldritch abominations in order to pose the good guys a challenge.

Can I make a suggestion? For inspiration you should watch Transformers Prime and take a look at Transformers Marvel and the IDW comics for background events and lore and Transformers Prime background material for characterizing Optimus Prime and the Autobots possibly implementing them into your story. That would be awesome and make this would be a great story for Transformers fans.

Optimus is definitely Optimus, and that is all I can say, while I am not to familiar with Worm, I am a die hard Transformers Fan. And this is an awesome Transformers story.
