I know it may not be a good time to send some requests since this story has been inactive for a while, but I want to share them because this story introduced me to some new JT songs that I now love, and I eventually found some on my own that I think might go well here if this ever gets updated again.

I'll bet you that just when Poppy finally realizes that she's in love with Branch and that these songs are most likely about her (which I'm sure her friends who are girls are going to help her to realize) that Creek is going to try to sabotage it somehow. Like go and tell Branch that Poppy has discovered his singing and told the whole village about it and everyone is making fun of him or something like that. Something that causes him to barricade himself to his bunker and not even answer it for Poppy who is going to become furious with Creek once she finds out what he did and go to any lengths to fix this problem and show Branch that she loves him back. Please update!

Man Poppy can be so oblivious some times. All of his songs have to do with things that she had said to him or things that she has done with him. It's really getting more and more obvious and it seems like her friends are catching on so when will she?

I dont think this should be a prequel. Instead I think it should be a completely different story than the main one. Making it a prequel gives you unnecessary boundaries.

They need to get stuck somewhere together. Preferably after Branch saves Poppy from getting eaten. Then he'd have a reason to tell her about why he never sings. I also wonder what he'd do if she kissed him...how that would affect the songs that he comes up with. THEN she'd find out who he's been talking about all this time

They need to get stuck somewhere together after Poppy is almost eaten and Branch saves her. While they wait to be rescued he can tell her the story of why he's grey (since she'll want to know WHY he was so panicked about it) and she can prove to him that she's trustworthy by not telling anyone anything. That'll lead to him trusting her more, perhaps even admitting to her that he writes songs. And she, growing ever fonder of him, can FINALLY read them from the book where they're written down and be able to ask who the girl is and unintentionally mention that she wishes she was that girl. Then we can see where things go from there.
