It's only the first chapter so I can't really tell how it'll go, but since it seems like you already have some ideas, it'll probably go well :)
Also I'm curious about Ed's language, are you following some kind of grammar and wording for it or am I looking into it too much? XD
I don't know if you know this anime, Mataraku Maou-sama, but they created a sort of language just for the demon race XD
Kinda looking forward to how you'll potray Edward's personality too :D

Well this is certainly a more unique way to begin a FMA/HP crossover, and to bring Edward into this world. It will be very interesting to see his experiences here, seeing as they are not being directed by Truth, as per usual. Of course, it also puts him at much more of a disadvantage, as far as having a possible way to get home. Hopefully in future chapters, we'll find out how old Edward is in this story, and at what point his adventures was he taken.

I don't normally enjoy FMA crossovers where Edward is put in Slytherin. Edward has traits that could place him in any of the four houses, but I think Slytherin suits him the least, as he is far too altruistic to fit in among the wizards that tend to gravitate towards that House. But at any rate, this story is so well written, and shows so much promise with this original opening chapter, that I'll have to follow it, and see where you're going to take this. Good luck with your story!
