Please tell me hermione and remus are soulmates it ties in with why he responded to her call - and maybe a possible solution to her curse: the curse prevents her from ever knowing and thus bonding with her soulmate but if her soulmate is already known...

And pleasepleasepleaseplease DON'T pair Harry and Ginny, that's like he's marrying his mother (seriously, she's mostly like a mini-Lily, other than her eye color)! On top of that, she's a fame hound and wants the spotlight while Harry prefers to stay out of it. Someone like Luna, or Hell, Daphne Greengrass or Tracey Davis (now that he's in Slytherin House and can get to know them) would be better options. Virtually anyone but Ginny! And maybe Pansy-I can't see him liking her when she'd remind him of Marge's dog, Ripper...

Don't have the Founders call them 'kids' (that's a baby goat). They would call the trio 'children'.

I don't think the Founders had 'manners' to discuss, I think they had 'matters' to discuss! :D

The Founders wouldn't have called it a 'check-up', they'd have called it a medical examination at worst, or possibly a healer's examination.

The Founders wouldn't 'work it out', they would 'plan' or 'arrange' it...

A few others I'm not entirely sure about, but I don't think they're worth mentioning without knowing for sure.

Noted that all but first chapter (which still says 800) has been changed to about a 1,000 years...Veritaserum was a recent invention, but it wasn't so recent they had only just invented it, either.

For historical people, you're using 'get' and 'got' too often...They never 'got' anywhere, they 'arrived', and they never 'get' anything, they used whatever term was appropriate...In the case of privacy, probably 'have'. They also wouldn't 'do' anyone, they would use an appropriate term, like in the case of 'testing' the students with legilimency...'get used to' would probably be 'learn to control' the power...

Founders wouldn't 'find a story', they'd 'provide an explanation for the new students' presence'. And yes, you actually need to say that's what the 'story' is for, whether or not you change the wording.

Er...1,000 years ago, they wouldn't know what an adoption agency was...normally family friends would simply take in a child (which, for the record, doesn't fit the three students because the average age of adulthood back then ranged between 12 and 14 years, not 17-18). Though, having one of the not-children 'adopted' would still be logical and would be a good cover.

Why does Salazar need to read Hermione's mind again? He already did that in the first chapter, and also established they aren't threats. He may need another reason to want to read Harry's and Ron's.

One question that occurred to me...why aren't you doing your own research to figure out when things happened based on the HP story line? It's not like that information is hard to find, and the Lexicon is one of the first ones to come up...So in my book...you are the one at fault for ever having had wrong dates, because it wasn't your sister's responsibility to do that for you...

Other than the point of your timeline still being wrong (:D), I'm enjoying the story.

To clarify...You can now find on sites like the Harry Potter Lexicon and the Wikia that Hogwarts was officially founded in the year 993AD. So...Unless you are writing this in the 1700's, maybe early 1800's, the passage of time would have been 1,000 years, give or take a bit, not 800.

As for the language use (which you mention at the start of Chapter 2), as long as the Founders and other students from their era aren't using modern slang (like, "You totally did!" or "Go take a hike!", or even just having them call the children 'kids'), you should be fine. I'll note phrases the Founders and those from their time wouldn't know.
