The creator of YOI actually stated that the reason why everything went so smoothly is because YOI is set in an alternate universe where there is no such thing as homophobia.

I'm guessing that you're fic is set in our world instead of the original LGBT friendly world of YOI. I love how your fic is progressing. Looking forward to the next chapter!

#2 sounds really interesting

the marketing ruined it for me. viktor being so nonchalant about it is just aggravating (for me, at least). he just became an opportunistic jerk who's willing to manipulate yuuri by taking advantage of his admiration for him. not to mention, deliberately using the lgbt rights movement as a marketing ploy for himself just so he could have an explosive retirement and bang a guy he barely even knew and really had no business "falling in love" with (didn't even consider yuuri's side, not to mention the possible effect of the backlash on yuuri when the guy literally just revealed he has ANXIETY). there was no drunk yuuri at a banquet, no skating cover for him to trully be interested. yuuri just defeated him in a single competition, and that's enough reason for one person to look at you with dreamy eyes. they haven't even had much conversation yet!

I think that #2 sounds really interesting!

This story is amazing I can't wait for an update! Also the yuri/viktor/Chris one and the yuri/jj/obelisk (?) (Sorry my spelling sucks) sounds interesting. My vote for number 3 if I had to pick only one
