I have never watched Halloween nor do I intend to (alas my baby brain can't handle horror movies) but this really got me invested! I love how Michael isn't redeemed but is able to have a more or less so positive relationship with Laurie and her children. I think that's really powerful and unique. It was all so satisfying. Nothing was too fast or too slow. Thank you for the good read!

I just want you to know that this is the best Halloween fic I have ever read and is one of the best I've read period. I have read this going on four times now and it always makes me invested. I hope you are proud of this and that if I could I would make this the story at the top of the first page.

My obsession for the Halloween franchise has returned recently and I’ve been looking for lots of fics this one is by far one of the best!

Michael stays in character and it’s even more fitting that we never see his POV (even tho the idea of it is chilling and intriguing but unfortunately not the best thing to do w mikey)

Oh wow, this was really good. Grammer, spelling and story structure was excelent and the pace was just fats enough to not get bored with and I adored the ending. Thank you for this wonderful tale.

Came back to read this again after the new movie, I liked that RZ brought to the table and how you worked with it. I'm not useful in the writing critique department, but this is my favorite Halloween fanfic. You do the PTSD elements justice.

I just read through all of this in one sitting. I loved it, to be succinct-the way you've combined the original and remake universes, the depth you've given Laurie's character. I'll admit, I don't particularly like about 70% of the content in the remake, but the relationship between Laurie and Michael in it felt like it wasn't explored ENOUGH and you've done just that and more. Your depiction of Laurie's PTSD and the worldbuilding you've done for her and her family is phenomenal.

Thank you for sharing this story! Definitely going on my favorites list. I hope you will write more in the future.
