Great story as always. And interesting subject matter. After the queen is gone, what if a dragon it left behind in the nest while everybody else went with the bewilderbeast? I liked it. Seeing how Last seems to act like she is out of it, which she is. Her name says it all, Last of the Faithful. She is the last of a dead "religion", even mentioning the Queen as god a few times. Just a very interesting story.

Aww, that was beautiful and sad...I really felt sorry for Last, all alone in the Nest trying to keep the only world she knew together. You have a real knack for showing life through different viewpoints. Of course our favourite duo were on top form as always, coming back to face their fears and help Last with hers.
