csiAngel chapter 1 . 9/7/2019 I love this. Your characterisation is spot on; I could “hear” the dialogue in their voices. Such a nice story of them opening up to each other and growing closer. Thank you. |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/17/2018 Such a great story! |
Publictoilet chapter 1 . 3/7/2017 Very well written! I absolutely loved it. |
Hazmatt chapter 1 . 3/3/2017 Great story! I really enjoyed it! |
CircleSky chapter 1 . 2/3/2017 That was wonderful! The characters shone through. I could hear their voices speaking your words. The tension grew steadily and believably. The back stories were well-rounded and explained. The writing was superb. I couldn't put it down. Although I admit I would have enjoyed the story continuing further, perhaps to let the reader know how things would be between them after they returned to the ship, it was also perfect ending where it did. Thanks for sharing! |
Indian Summer 2378 chapter 1 . 1/12/2017 Wow, what an awesome story! It's so captivating, I read it without a break. You pictured the setting so vividly, I could easily imagine it and the ending was perfect, simply perfect. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story! |
KJaneway115 chapter 1 . 1/8/2017 Loved this story! The end had me grinning all the way through and I loved how you mixed in the adventure and the gradual change of their relationship. |
KJC-56 chapter 1 . 12/18/2016 This was a very lovely piece. I thoroughly enjoyed how you managed to include so many different aspects that make up their relationship – easy banter and serious talk, flirting and ship's business and of course dealing with trauma. Your description about their diving experience gave me chills - the idea that my head would be fully covered while I'm sinking down into the dark deep water makes me shudder. I also admire their adventurous spirit – I wouldn't want to be soaked to the skin! :-) |
Quadrantje chapter 1 . 12/14/2016 What a wonderful story! You paint such a vivid alien world, unique and so real that I can almost touch it. Within that world and the 'now' of the story, there are so many layers. Memories from when they were young, their dreams for the future. A lifetime in one single chapter. And I loved the Doctor and his wetsuits. Incredible story, I'm so awed. |
nlb chapter 1 . 12/10/2016 This was so good! It did end a bit abruptly but good just the same. |
Kelly chapter 1 . 11/28/2016 Enjoyed this story very much. Love stories where J/C can spend time together! You have written quite a few of my "favorite J/C stories"! Thank you! |
annejoy chapter 1 . 11/24/2016 Thank you so much for sharing this story. A wonderful mix of adventure and conversation. Great writing! |
sepbry chapter 1 . 11/24/2016 I really enjoyed the pace of this story - it was an andante, like a walking pace in music. Good forward movement but not rushed, and it felt very true to everyday life (or as every day as life can be in the Delta quadrant). Thanks for the enjoyment! |
Mary S chapter 1 . 11/23/2016 What a delightful story with a most promising ending. I like the way you've worked in the bit of canon, the baryon sweep. That always adds a bit of realism. Overall, a pleasure to read. Thanks for sharing. |
Moonlitfaith chapter 1 . 11/23/2016 A great and unpredictable story. Thanks for bringing me along on the adventure - I truly enjoyed never knowing where you would take it. The details from Mosaic built nicely. The black water incident and wading back to conversation about it was beautifully done. Very true to J/C friendship. I recognized the barium sweep immediately from TNG but thanks for the episode note to save me a quick search for the name :) |
