I thought that the family's reaction seemed like something they would do in the show. Although I feel like that segment was a bit rushed. Nevertheless, the chapter was still great. :)

I think Wilder kidnapping Anna from Florida would work because it would open a door for her and Danny to repair their relationship because to her that would prove he loves her to always fight for her and find her
