Why did you suddenly decide to reveal that Percy and Penny were different personalities? That completely kills what you were going for in this story. The story has a bunch of plot holes that are never addressed (why can't Aphrodite just remove the curse on Percy? Why did all the male gods make a big show of making the female gods leave and act suspicious instead of just waiting after the meeting to corner Percy? Why do Thalia and the Hunters never wonder what happened to Percy when they were supposed to find him and failed, and never ask what happened to him? Why does Thalia not care about Percy's disappearance? Why has nobody noticed that Percy hasn't been seen in months and Annabeth has been sulking when the last time that happened Hera kidnapped him? Why is everyone cool with Annabeth having seemingly joined the Hunt after cheating on her boyfriend just to hook up with someone else when that seems like a major bitch moment? What happened to Mr. D, since he wasn't fired just turned into a co-counselor, but hasn't been seen since? Why can't Apollo detect that Penny was lying her ass off throughout the meeting, like being a daughter of Hecate? And why wouldn't he be using his truth powers his fullest to find out what happened to his target instead of "half focusing"? Why does Zeus allow himself to be cucked and let Penny sit on Hera's lap and never try to investigate what's going on? Why would Hades be cool with the rape plan when he's been hated by the Olympians for years and is only allowed on Olympus on for one day a year? When would he have time to be involved? Why is Penny suddenly convinced that Annabeth was going to be raped and goes crazy over this? And why are you trying to give Apollo a redemption story when he's the one who did the most work in trying to rape Percy?) but this was the biggest one of all.

Throughout the whole story, everyone has been insisting that Percy and Penny are the same person. Except...they're not. You just confirmed it here. Penny is just a split personality that happens to have all of Percy's memories. That's like saying Mars and Ares are one and the same, they have different personalities. So the real Percy has been locked up inside his own body and has it stolen by another being and has no idea what's been going on since. That's actually even more horrible then him being raped for eternity, imagine having your body stolen and no idea what's been going months later while your powerless and no one cares.

And why is Penny deciding to keep Percy locked up treated as the "right" thing to do? She claims it's because he's "tired", but he never expresses that, it comes solely from Penny (who has no reason to let Percy out), and Percy was clearly trying to fight back in some chapters so he clearly wants to be free. It also comes as baffling you had Aurora talk about how mind-numbingly horrible being locked up in Apollo's body with no control or freedom was, yet Penny doing the same thing to Percy is treated as the "moral" thing to do. And the logic that Penny has too many people who only know her like this so she should stay as Penny makes no sense. By that logic, Percy has friends who he only interacted with and knew him solely as a man, yet that isn't brought up. So why is it that Penny's friends get special attention while Percy's are brushed off and told to deal with it? It really does feel like it would have made more sense if it was actually because Penny was scared that everyone likes her more as a girl and doesn't want to change back to lose their relationships, which seems to be the case because everyone clearly likes Penny way more then Percy (especially Poseidon). I know in a genderbending story you need to come up with some excuse to prevent the character from turning back into their original gender, but at least not in a way that has the lead locked away in his mind as a prisoner.

Beyond that, I'm not a fan at how many handwaves there are here. Despite saying the story would focus on the characterization more then the sex, it's the opposite that holds true. Rather then have Penny develop to being ok with harem and having sex with everyone around her, you just give her a bunch of power-ups to get immediately in that mindset instead of it happening naturally. Basically the domains are used as short cuts (which also doesn't make sense, because by that logic, Zeus would always be a just king, Apollo could never lie, and Hera would be a nice queen). You also keep insisting that Penny is "not a slut" even though she tries to have sex with every woman she sees, says she would go have sex with random women if she didn't have a harem already, and says that she will only have sex with men but not love them (in other words, having sex with someone solely for their bodies). You also handwave all of the female gods problems to make them 100% good guys. Aphrodite is a cheating whore whose caused wars? She's actually been in an open relationship this whole time (we only have her word on this) and we get a throwaway line about how she "regrets" her bad decisions (regrets we never see her express in the story). Hera is a horrible mother and queen? She's actually been a good guy this whole time and it was all Zeus' fault (the fact that she's tried to kill demigods out of spite is not addressed). Amphrite hates Percy for being a bastard child? She's actually learned to love him off screen. Rather then having Penny change them for the better, you just have them already as clear cut good guys, making it less interesting and less potential drama. Aphrodite herself also comes off as pretty sketchy, since you never explain why she can't remove Penny's curse and she outright says she's happy about Percy's change because of all the women she can finally have sex with. It really does come off more like she's just using Penny so that she can manipulate her into making a harem so she can finally have sex with all the female gods. Pacing can also be sluggish at times. There are also some oddities like the story claiming Athena is a lesbian (even though she's been attracted to men before, like Annabeth's father...that is the whole reason she was born after all) or having Penny suddenly decide to be attracted to men (in earlier chapters, Penny was very clearly a man hater, so her now suddenly being interested in men feels odd).

Look I know you're not going to read this review since you made it clear from the start that people who don't like shouldn't bother reading it, and are just going to accuse me of being a flamer. I just wanted to be honest with my opinions and get this off my chest, and give a detailed explanation on why I didn't like aspects of it rather then just going "this sucks!". I hate criticizing stories, but I wanted to be honest in my review. I gave it a fair shot because it had a very interesting premise and I didn't like the execution. It started out good but it got too bloated as time went on and created too many problems for me to enjoy. To be on a more positive note, I did like some aspects of it, and the grammar is very solid. I'm also a big fan of your other story, Reign of the New Protogenoi. While it does have some problems (mostly with how sluggish the pacing is), it's overall a very solid and entertaining story, and is one of the best "Percy is betrayed and comes back seeking revenge" stories on the site, and I look forward to reading more chapters from it.
