...all of a sudden...with how you had Obito get his Mangekyou from a genjutsu...I had the mental image of Sasuke getting his from accidentally impaling Naruto by accident during a fight before the Chuunin Exams even happened, freaking out at accidentally killing what amounted to his best friend and taking down every single enemy in the vicinity in his panic-induced rampage, only to find out the true extent of Naruto's healing factor...and proceeding to go "fuckit" with his high and mighty attitude and reverting to the most tsundere mother hen to ever tsundere OR mother-hen. And the entire battle being referred to as the Flaming Chicken Incident (name courtesy of Naruto's "fantastic" naming skills when told about the part he was considered dead and down for the count). Can you not just imagine Sasuke with the most grumpy expression ever determinedly getting that random splotch of dirt OFF of Naruto's face with force? Or literally shoving some pureéd concoction of vegetable-y goodness down a tied up Naruto's throat to "encourage eating vegetables properly"? And everyone around them getting very thrown by their very, VERY ambiguous relationship in the works?

Aww that was so so cute and fluffy and frilly. I totally loved the tooth-aching sweetness of the fic. Recently I have a sudden desire for KakaObi, but their are not many fics, more so of the light-hearted, Rom-Com variety. This is exactly what I had been searching for. And I hope maybe you'll make it a two-shot, as I would love to read the entire scenario from Kakashi's perspective.
Really loved it. And it being a non-massacre was like cherry on the top.

P.S.- Shisui also has the mangekyo. Hence Obito wouldn't be the only Uchiha alive. Though I would anyday prefer a Sharingan Shisui to a dead one.
