I like to read stories where these two actually have something romantic. Like, okay so he was all about Shizuka in the beginning and so she let Tsukasa in. But I enjoy the idea of a second chance there and seeing what he couldn’t see before and then her seeing that he’s been there all along and he’s a better choice.

This is a lovely fic which depicts the dynamic of their relationship really well. Rui would have been so much better for her, but it's difficult to escape an abusive relationship when one is the nurturing type and the partner always apologizes. The feelings of unrequited love were depicted beautifully. I like the melancholy, which is balanced out by his realistic expectations and maturity.

I really liked this one, so bitterweet. A part of me always did like Rui better than Doumiyouji (he could be such an ass most of the time).

Amazing! Wish there were more recent fics in this archive :') While reading the manga I did feel sorry for Rui, but he also seemed like he wasn't ready for a relationship with Tsukushi just yet, and I did feel bad for Tsukushi at the start when he not-so-discreetly rejected her feelings.

FYI, nothing above has anything to do with weaknesses of your fic and just my view on some parts of the manga XD I usually dislike Rui X Tsukushi fics, but this is one exception I'd have to say! For a fic written six years ago, this is really nice, as well.
