After reading Fairy Tail A New Day and Homecoming respectively, this is one of the best FT fics I've ever read and enjoyed especially after reading it again. Team Morningstar are all quite cool characters in their own right and they are quite well-rounded and relatable including how they are developed as remarkable individuals they are including the levels of badass they took to get stronger and more skilled. And don't forget worldbuilding of Magic and Earth Land too as well which I like lore and history. Of course there are indeed some subtle changes that this is indeed an AU standing out well from the canon and I am loving it so very much! :D

Looks like the Tower of Heaven arc is approaching soon and all of the important characters are gonna gather in one place where Jellal resides in the dark tower and they will clash in epic proportions that would shake the foundations of the tower, the whole island and the seas even when the Magic Council will be tricked into firing the Etherion. :o

As the stage is all set, the stakes has never been higher (TFS Goku: *gasps* Me as Mr. Perfect Cell: "Before you say it's not barbecue." TFS Goku: "Aww I wasn't thinking that." Me: "Yes you are.") and I am definitely liking these odds. XD

I am pretty sure that not all will be walking away from the Tower of Heaven alive or unscathed and I sincerely hope the Holy Crusaders led by that crazy ass mother of Natsu get wiped out for being hypocritical Magic hating fanatics that use Magic they see as evil to kill anyone who uses Magic that is a mundane part of everyday life and they are no better than the Zeref cultists themselves. Jellal better give Fuyu and her stooges "The Reason You Suck" breaking speech and rekt their self-righteous asses thoroughly and mercilessly that not even the good guys have any sympathy for those assholes.

Speaking of which if the Council ever gets reformed with new Chairman and Councilors although Org can stay there after the Tower of Heaven aftermath, please make the Rune Knights to be as strong as they're supposed to be and give them justice for the huge disservice that Hiro Mashima had portrayed them as weak, incompetent, and virtually useless as cannon fodder and cartoony guards.

I have this idea of mine for the ranking system of the Rune Knights for the Adaptational Badass dose big time on them from the bottom to the top of the chain of command if you're interested of course for this story:

2. Regular
3. Lieutenant
4. Captain
5. Major
6. Field Commander
7. Colonel
8. Division Commander
9. Major General
10. Lieutenant General
11. General
12. Minister General
13. Grand General
14. Supreme Commander

What do you think in your thoughts and opinions about the Rune Knight ranking?

To describe about these Rune Knight rankings:
1. The Supreme Commander is the highest rank within the entirety of Ishgar's Rune Knights, who commands all the Rune Knights in the continent and possesses the strength on par with that of Fiore's highest ranked Wizard Saint and Ishgar's strongest Mage but is subservient to the Chairman of the Magic Council.

2. The Grand General is the leader of a country's Rune Knights and is on a level of a 5th Wizard Saint. Supported by four Generals who are direct subordinates to him/her when it comes to leading their forces in battle. And is also considered to be second-in-command of the Supreme Commander who takes charge by himself/herself after arriving from Pergrande Kingdom, the largest and most powerful country of Ishgar.

3. The Generals are the top ranking officers of the Rune Knights and the chosen 4 who answer to the Grand General and the Supreme Commander too as well and are as strong as a Wizard Saint. Sometimes they take in apprentices who are Lieutenant Generals whose respective level of power are that of Guild Aces in grooming and training them as their potential successors in the future.

4. The Major Generals are the direct subordinates of the Lieutenant Generals and are somewhat considered the middle-men of the Rune Knight chain of command and they are considered to be on an S-Class level.

5. The Minister General is the one who usually takes care of the internal and external affairs of the Rune Knights, usually involves politics and public relations that does not require a lot of power in such rank while the Generals lead the fighting, yet is stronger than the current four Generals. Usually reserved for veteran Rune Knights or former Councilors with military background.

6. As for the rest of the other ranks: Division Commander, Colonel and Field Commander, they control the divisions and battalions as they personally lead them in the front lines and are on the mid-tier class of power compared with seasoned Guild Mages.

7. And the Major, Captain, and Lieutenant, they command the squadrons and teams of Regulars and Cadets who are the weakest of the Rune Knights all like scrubs they are and needed more training, and three high ranks in the lower chain of command of them have a moderately strong level in their own right compared to experienced Guild Mages.

On the bright side, some of the high-ranking Rune Knights can be allowed to customize their officer's uniforms with their own fashion preferences along with their own custom weaponry and equipment that stands them out from the lower ranks in the chain of command (whose canon Rune Knight rank and file uniform with staves looks so boring and uninspiring, and needs to be replaced with replacement of something more practical yet formal and militaristic uniform and equipped with actual standard weaponry but the staves can stay though) and be recognized and distinguished so long they follow strict uniform code and protocol including the addition of the Council colors and ankh emblem in their uniform; be it blue and white; and black and white.

The canon Rune Knight officer's uniform worn by Lahar and Doranbolt, and the other Rune Knight officer's uniform worn by Gajeel, Levy, and Pantherlily during their time at the Wizard Saint-run Council for one year are still cool and can stay as standard uniforms for the Rune Knight officers in the Council military with some little modifications and additions into them if they wanted to.

Remember the MPF event of the Grand Magic Games arc and Lahar, who was a guest commentator, stated that Millianna's MPF level is high enough to get a position of Captain in the Rune Knights after she struck the Magic Power Finder device as first contender.

So I got this in accordance to their MPF rankings if these people were in the Rune Knights:
1. Millianna: 365 - Captain
2. Nobarly: 124 - Lieutenant
3. Hibiki: 95 - Regular
4. Obra: 4 - Barely even qualified as a Cadet
5. Orga: 3,825 - Field Commander
6. Jura: 8,544 - Lieutenant General
7. Cana: 9,999 - General (even though she did it through Mavis lending her Fairy Glitter just to get a cheap win the event)

In this chart, these are the MPF Levels for the Rune Knight rankings:
10 - 50: Cadet
51 - 100: Regular
101 - 350: Lieutenant
351 - 1,000: Captain
1,001 - 3,000: Major
3,001 - 4,000: Field Commander

What do you think of the MPF Levels in your thoughts and opinion?

Heck you could even give a expanded lore for the Rune Knights and their history and purpose as guardians of the World of Magic and military police organization of the Magic Council in their founding with their duties of patrolling and protecting the continent from threats, enforce the Council's laws and ideals, and dispense justice on criminals and lawbreakers they battled and apprehended. That'd be so awesome!

After all, I always wanted to see Lahar in real action with actual Magic and combat skills he displays instead of just standing there and commanding the troops in the canon. Heck, even Doranbolt can kick serious butt as a Rune Knight in canon.

Having Fiore have a country-wide military force of Rune Knights with enormous magical ability that can keep evildoers in check alongside the Magic Council's vast weaponry would certainly explain why they (Tartaros) hesitated from open conflict for so long (The seven year time-skip). To operate from the shadows and find the perfect opportunity in order to eliminate the Magic Council alongside the military Hierarchy, Fiore's military and magical forces would be paralyzed as their government has been effectively neutralized. The civilian government (the king and such) won't be able to do much at all in the chaos and confusion because of the lack of leadership for all the separate branches of government which is what Tartaros desired. A perfect opportunity in order to activate Face. Fairy Tail is just one of the many guilds in the country and thus not the main line of defense from country-wide threats such Tartaros. The magical bomb that Seilah had Elfman plant was just a bonus in the plan to eliminate Fiore's strongest guild in the aftermath of the Grand Magic Games.

To add onto that, it would also aid in the 'power of government' that one got a distinct feeling from the beginning of Mashima's story. They're not cannon fodder but an actual power to be feared. The Rune Knights: Fiore's civilian and magical military alongside the Magic Council. Light and Dark Guilds would have a reason to be afraid of their attention and respect their authority because of the power they wield.

Anyways, this is a really awesome FT AU story and I look forward for the next chapter of the Tower of Heaven arc very soon. Faved and Followed. :D

So this is how this season ends... I LOVE IT! This is gonna be even better then I imaged. All the characters you added to this series has made it into something finamonal and this chapter is putting a whole new step into the story. This story has evolved into something great and know we're in a crucial part of this story and it's gonna be absolute war.

You must be a my hero academia fan to write a villain chapter this good lol. How do you keep track of all the OC’S?

Wasn’t expecting another chapter so soon, so this was a pleasant surprise. I liked how this chapter focused on the different groups of characters introduced so far, as well as giving us some insight into what will happen later in the story. I love that Julia is like the love struck girl she is in the original series but can put her foot down when she convinces Zeke to take a break from training, that shows her growth as a character. Erza’s mentor sounds like a total dad to her and I can’t wait for him to appear in the story proper. Plus Hoshi gets some much needed closure and an awesome battle to boot. Overall I can’t wait to see what comes next.

So magic reserves shrink with age like chackra? Good to know. Origin union is fire! Since Morningstar has so many people is erza still going to form her own team to compete?

Just the fact that you updated already hade me exited... But when I read the chapter has made really did for me. The training arc comes to close soon and you introduce the origin Union was incredible, I have loved how you have soon the origin magics as he digs deep which in the characters. And I feel like soon it's going to get crazy

This next arc with the tower of heaven is going to be amazing i can tell already. It's been building all to this and it's gonna be all out war! We have Raven tail, Fuyu's crusaders, the zeref cult, and the ethiours, and I don't how but fairy tail as well. I have loved all these characters you have made and their back stories have been much more interesting then the cannon and that's why I love the fairy mythos. And this is gonna be big! And I'm not sure if it's gonna completely happen I would love to see mythos Zeref.

Speaking of that the title for the next chapter gave me goosebumps with the explications, like is it Silas or Zeref? But either was I can tell it's gonna be amazing. Well that's all I have to say, but I can't wait to see where this all goes and thank you for writing this.

Awesome chaoter definitely worth the wait. A suggestion for a second origin for gajeel is that a magic that let him manipulate metal like musica does in rave master with silver because that would go well with his dragon slayer magic and I see gajeel with a sword that I can change into a spear and whoop some ass with it

All magic has an absolute rule? That’s an awesome plot point! Smart move with the rival thing. That’s what sets deku and bakugou apart from goku and vegeta.

A few months ago I stumbled upon this fairy tail fanfic and I was instantly hooked. I was impressed by the lore of the fairy mythos series and how you improve upon many of the issues surrounding the original story. I also love how natural the relationship between all the characters feels, while introducing new events to the story. I waited months for this story to update and you did not disappoint. I eagerly await for when you post the next chapter.
