This was amazing. OK I kind of wish there is a one shot sequel or a proper one.

SHITE. Ilona… She DIED. Yay that she and Eren reunite but omifkngawd Zeke… Poor Zeke… My heart.

SADNESS. But I loved reading Grisha and Kruger's talk from Kruger's perspective, and Ilona's talk with Zeke. Poor Zeke. His development throughout this story was amazing-kudos for that!

Wow. The opening was so chilling and so sad. This is your strongest chapter yet. I teared up-it's very poignant and tragic, but satisfying.

ZEKE. Nooooooo. And Grisha, always realizing too late... :(

Zeke being so lonely and Ilona giving him candy-it's so poignant. And tragic. And "Captain Fischer believed in him... hadn't condemned him"-ouch. And him giving him a peppermint stick after Grisha fuming at him for candy-wow. Someone save Zeke.

Zeke being so full of fairytales and hope is killing me slowly and painfully. Whyyyyyyyyy.

Wow. That was... disturbing. But fitting, too, I think, given the setting and what we know from the manga. And as always, Zeke's development continues to be a highlight.

Poor Zeke, I wanna hug him. And dammit, I hope IIona is okay.

My heart is just breaking for Zeke. the manipulation is so powerfully displayed, and Grisha and Dina are completely ignorant of how their gaps in parenting are allowing Fischer to sweep in. Ouch.

I am enjoying this so far. I've always been skeptical about OC and cannon pairings but I decided to give this one a shot and it turns out I like this pairing.

Zeeeeeeeke. I actually feel sympathy for him. #savezeke (I know it won't happen in canon but damn.)

Awww! I felt sorry for Kruger here.

Fischer's manipulation of Zeke is chilling. Good job.
