I know you wrote this months ago, but I only stumbled across it today. It's a brilliant piece of writing. Just what I needed.

Aw this was great! I love the song Winter Song, such a good song. I love that they talk and figure it out. They are so amazing together. Christopher is yuck. Never liked him.

OMG, this was amazing. During season 7, there were a lot of moments in which o thought "now they're getting back together" and this was definitely one of them.

I love "Winter Song" as well! It's a good addition to my Christmas playlist. If only they had gotten back together in that episode... Thanks for not making Christopher a super villain. It certainly is a trend at the moment. But Luke is fine on his own, we don't need a sharp contrast IMO.

What a great path you carved out of a scene with potential. It felt like all three characters were true to their feelings, yet moved forward to put things right again.

I always felt like Chris really did get it. He knew Lorelai's heart belonged to Luke but he tried anyway. But he just gave up. He knew she would never ever get over Luke and Luke proved that he would never get over Lorelai when he showed up at the hospital. He wouldn't have run over there when Babette ts him if he didn't still love her. Great job!

You should write another chapter or a sequel to this. There could be a very long multi-chapter story here. I would be willing to co-write it with you, or be your beta, or anything else you may need. I love this story.
