   jenninthecity chapter 53 . 6/25 So, I just re-read this whole thing in the last 24 hours and I still love it! I basically had a lot of the original version memorized because I reread it so much back in the original MIOBI days, but I hadn't re-read this version since it was reposted four years ago. There were so many little things that I had forgotten about the new version that I love as well as of course, the actual competition and how it all turns out. I love how you fleshed out Beth and Drea and Hayley more as well as the conflict between Lauren and Payson. MJ is sublime here and I love how she just gets what's happening and how it all works. I wasn't a huge fan of Sasha's addiction storyline as it rolled out, but reading it all at once, it's not as dominate as I remember. And of course, I love Kelly and Payson's friendship. Obviously, we've all moved on from the show, but I wish there was more from Sasha's new gym. I didn't want to leave this universe, even after nearly 450 pages (yes, I saved a Word copy for just in case). Anyway, four years later, I just wanted to tell you again that I love this story and this universe. |
