Beautifully written and perfectly in character all round (yes, it's not all fun and games for Leia; she's just lost her planet) and it's nice to see her bonding tentatively with Luke. Funny how the two of them have this strange feeling they might have known each other before :-D

And I like the little touch about Luke being twenty in 'his' planet's terms but nineteen by standard reckoning - I can't remember if that's canon or not, but it's the sort of thing that makes the galaxy seem a wider and more thought-through place.

You handle Leia's POV really well in your fics. This story seamlessly fills in what happened between the Death Star and Yavin, and the relationships among the three characters fit nicely with this point in canon.

I liked this a lot. The humor and the tender moments were heartwarming. Great job, and I love the look into the flight from Death Star to Yavin. :)

Always wanted L & L as an item, they know each other so well... Not like that stupid brash smuggler ugh! Han Solo annoyed me so much.

What a lovely piece that I could see taking place in A New Hope, where Leia gets to know Luke and Han a bit better.

Yay! I liked the discussions-it was a great job filling in a small part of the stories that I would never have thought of! It was nice to see some of Luke grieving (sp) for his aunt and uncle as well as Ben to a degree. I love how you make commentary about the bond Leia feels to him, making a great set up for later events as we know them. Excellent job!

I'd love to see some kind of sequel to this, maybe Luke being reunited with Biggs. I love the way you write their relationship. Will you perhaps write a post-ROTJ story with Emmi?
