nice explanations and exploring of the lore in canon naruto, truly nicely thinked

nice beginning few stories of naruto doe something like this in the right way, hope you don't turn this on a drama fest because a lot of authors that try to make it darker and edgier end making the story an angst festival that as progress makes you feel more and more depressed as you continue i seriously hope you don't take that route

I have to say, from the first chapter, i thought this would be another good, albeit somewhat lacking in depth, fanfiction that pops on the site from time to time. I'm glad to see that I was completely wrong and this is turning out tremendously. Keep up the great work.

Very interesting start. I can already imagine how this encounter will affect Naruto's character and relationships but I'm more interested to see how you will proceed with and where you'll take this story.

Exactly! Why is everyone so keen on being in charge? It's a giant pain in the ass that takes up all of your time. You have to make sure your people either love/fear you enough so that they don't turn on you, have enough money to keep things running, watch out for assassins that will try and murder your face, and be diplomatic enough so that you don't have the world as your enemy.

I also agree on Danzo's point, and it gets vexing when you read Fanfictions and he's the kind of a villain that is easily dispatch because of his ego. When he's done the job for over forty years.

Oh I don't know if becoming Hokage would be detrimental. The Hokage can basically shape the village. In canon, the Hokage's power is nearly unlimited in village affairs. They are not beholden to anyone except arguably the Fire Daimyo. A Hokage's hands are only tied if they let them be, and I don't think Danzo would.

Now don't get me wrong, there are benefits to be the power behind the curtains, but Danzo wanted to reshape the village and he can't do that from the shadows.
