Re-reading Chap. 1 and 7 got me thinking:
1. a black SUV was speeding away after hitting Hiccup.
2. Stoick ownes a black Range Rover.

Doesn't count the RR as SUV?
Does that mean STOICK hit Hiccup?
And did HE speed away because of the potental damage to his repitation?

Stoick can be many things, but abussive (?) parent is a no-go for me.

Cute chapter. If your open to plot suggestions hiccups that could use Stoik beating up Hiccup as leverage to get him to change the age rule. After all if word got out he would never be mayor again. Or they could search charges and with him no longer on out of prison it would be easier to change the rules with a powerful influence on he counsel no longer there. Btw why does he hate his son so much?
