This is sort of a premise that run perpendicular to you why do you hate me story. Instead of Beast Boy just taking what Raven said and did while avoiding her, he fights harsh words with harsh words of his own. Hard to say which can be considered the better way to deal with things, since both don't solve the problem.

That is quite the viscous cycle. For something who is condemning Beast Boy for childish pranks, Raven sure played plenty of childish pranks on Beast Boy from the sounds of it. Even when Beast Boy is trying to apologize, it only leads to more fighting.

Well, this fight seems to have escalated beyond the others. After Beast Boy blurted out some things in anger, Raven really tore into him. I get wanting to see Beast Boy reach his true potential, but yelling at him, insulting him, and pulling childish does not seems to be the best method to do so. I can't help but wonder what Raven was expecting when she started getting so aggressive with him. The I hate you may have been said quietly, but it sure cut deeper than anything else she said.

That rant certainly took the wind out of Beast Boy's sails. Ouch, Beast Boy is just planning to leave the team now. He has reached his limit and the hate comment was the last straw. I wonder what he plans to do after leaving.

He even went as far as to pull a Raven and lock himself in his room, not even acknowledging the presence of the others when they tried to talk to him. You know, we got the others reaction to Beast Boy leaving, except for Raven. When did she find out and how did she react? It is clear she didn't muster the courage to do something about until the last second in nothing else.

Well, that is one way to try to stop Beast Boy from leaving. Considering how little Raven initiates physical contact, it is a big deal for her. With no other course of action, Raven actually tell Beast Boy the truth of what she feels.

She hates the fact that he took her out of her comfort zone and turned for own conditioning on its head and shattering what she thought she wanted. She likes him because he makes her feel and brings light into her life. It still doesn't explain where the initial anger that sparked this whole mess came from.

Well, Raven's heartfelt pleas were enough to change his mind. That was cute at the end there. I hope you know Cyborg, that blackmailing Beast Boy about this is blackmailing Raven as well. You best be prepared for that.
